We can only hope and pray that it happens.

Yep like I said you don’t get payed out in full for quittingAlso did 5 mins of reading, Clarko was sacked
Yep like I said you don’t get payed out in full for quitting
It wasn't a sacking... it was a two week succession plan.
I said he didn’t quit, I said that to youApologies, or is this where I do a demon bhoy and dig in and still claim I was right?
I said he didn’t quit, I said that to you
I said it to you twicewoooooosh
Can't wait for the Hawks to be flying at 9-0 halfway through the 2088 season on track to break their 67 year premiership drought only to have the wheels fall off to the point where they're talking about poaching Melbourne's 4 time premiership coach by round 19.Much like the trope in horror movies where you have to transfer a curse to someone else, we have transferred the norm smith curse to the hawks.
Dees premiers 2021
Why would he take the Carlton job? Their list is shit. The board are unstable. The fans are complete numpties.I reckon Clarko’s already got a private handshake on the Carlton job.
Why would he take the Carlton job? Their list is sh*t. The board are unstable. The fans are complete numpties.
He could basically walk into any club he wants, the AFL would be falling over backwards to employ him as well I'd have thought.
If I was him I'd be looking at Collingwood, GWS and GCS too.
I'll take 3 for one Billion dollars Trebeck!Yeah people might say they would sack Goody for Clarko tomorrow, and I get it, but basically every scenario where it happens is completely outlandish.
1. We make one of the boldest administration decisions ever and sack Goody for Clarkson immediately, Clarkson forgets everything he's ever said about personal integrity and takes the job of a knifed coach. Our current season gets totally derailed and we hope Clarkson can work his magic next year.
2. We wait out the season, fail in our finals campaign and Clarkson hasn't taken any job offered to him yet. We sack Goodwin and win the bidding war against two of the biggest clubs in the land.
3. Clarkson takes a year off coaching, we fall off a cliff next year and don't renew Goodwins contract. Clarko decides to get back into Coaching for the 2023 season and comes to us. (Only realistic scenario)

My turn to apologise, Ive realised I completely misread this before and got what you said completely backward, sorryApologies, or is this where I do a , demon bhoy and dig in and still claim I was right?

Yep completely over my head, had to read it to myself 3 times before it clickedlike I said...woooooosh.
And all is good again on the board...
Still think we should not renew Goodys contract if no flag. But no Clarko on the market, hot dang, that's depressing.
Hopefully he ends up at Carlton and fails miserably like Malthouse. And all is good again on the board...

Agreed, I'd take Carlton over Collingwood any day. Also, probably less expectations and pressure too. I rate Carlton highly, they just need a couple more good young players, and a coach who isn't soft, and they will be right up there.Carlton's list isn't bad at all. They've got the key elements you need, they just need one draft like us Port and Essendon had and a bit more of a defensive effort.
