Analysis The Coach – Simon 'Standard Practice' Goodwin: It's time to go (for real this time)

People are so dumb thinking journos would air stuff like she does without knowing what is going on behind the scenes (Except for North, she has a blind spot there).

Hope she puts on her sexy blue velvet party dress Monday and rubs it in everyones face.

If you think my reply was cryptic you clearly don’t know what cryptic means.
At this point I don’t see a scenario but that’s why you would call his manager and ask the question, due diligence it’s what we’ll run business do
How boring. Guess what, if his plans are that he's taking a year off coaching next year then we will know that anyway, as will the entire football world, and didn't even need to make a call. So really don't see any point in the excercise unless we're recruiting him for next year. But sure, call him. Hopefully Goody doesn't find out we're looking into a possible replacement a few weeks before the finals though.

Yeah how to **** up a season 101. Get busted talking to a new coach while yours just finished top 4. There isn't a much more stupid way you could finish the season.

Would be hilariously MFC though. Then Clarko ends up at Collingwood anyway 😂

I never claimed making phone calls was exiting, sorry to let you down, and to be honest if we don’t win a final this year who cares if Goodwin found out he should be looking for a new job in that circumstance, but as I’ve said repeatedly if we win them all from here on out he can coach for life, but lets at least do our due diligence like any good business in the world would

My step daughters taste in music is epic. Good sing-a-long song in the car with her friends.:thumbsu:

That song was on every half hour at every venue a decade ago.

Unfortunately it's pretty much impossible for the club to put any kind of feelers out for Clarko without it getting to the media, and that would be disastrous and unfair on Goody at this stage of the season.

The stain on Goodwin’s coaching career is the 31 match period from the 2018 PF to round 9 last year where we went 8-23. The rest of the time we are 49-25-1, still some frustrating sh*t there but winning 2 out of 3 is excellent win percentage wise.

I get what you're saying but if you exclude the 28 losses under Mark Neeld he also had an excellent record.
