He is getting payed out in full, you don’t get paid in full if you quit, you’d have to be dumb not to see that

lol, you get paid out in full when you're one of the greatest coaches in club history. You cant be this thick to not realise this isn't an ordinary situation?

Yeah and so is sacking a coach in the hunt for the Premiership 😂. I'm literally not gonna do this with you mate because you cant see sense, it's not gonna happen
Strawmaning again TK, who said sack Goodwin, try arguing what was said not what you want to hear

You'd have to be dumb not to. He didn't want to waste another year with a team he had no future with. Cant blame him. Hawthorn hardly going to hold him to his contract with what hes done for them.

Wasn't Caro's mail that the higher ups at the Hawks wanted him to walk away so they didn't need to have him on the books and he was calling their bluff knowing he's contracted.

I expect it was just a matter of the two parties finding the right price to get him to walk away.

Nobody hands over 1 million dollars to somebody who quits, particularly in the current environment, you can’t be this thick not to realise that

Except he was paid out in full. So that story isn't true.

Not every club is on the brink of becoming insolvent. If a coach is sacked they rarely/if ever get paid out in full.

So he's still within their cap next year? I wonder how the structure of the payout is setup.

I think it was telling that he went out of his way to mention that he was contracted and he was a man of integrity in the weeks prior.

Yep pay me and I’ll leave, we’ll played

Okay, so you want the club to pickup the phone and say what exactly?

So if we go after Clarkson... We won't sack Goodwin...

fu** me sideways
I thought you weren’t responding? I’ll repeat what I said give the manager of the best coach in the last 2 decades a ring to see what his plans are, not to do it is negligent. If you want to disagree great but actually disagree with what I said

We should get Goody to agree to a handover at the end of next year to Clarko I think Demon bhoy is trying to say.

Not sure if Goody will go for it but we should pick up the phone and ask him too. :thumbsu:

Clarko clearly a big fan of succession plans. 😂

What’s Alistair’s plans for next year

And then we hang up the phone no matter his answer?

No need to be so cryptic, give use your scenario where you see Clarko ending up at Melbourne.

If you think my reply was cryptic you clearly don’t know what cryptic means.
At this point I don’t see a scenario but that’s why you would call his manager and ask the question, due diligence it’s what we’ll run business do
