Is this why Goody doesnt play anyone Lamb brings in? Because he signed off on them?

Ooooookaay then.

There is obviously a disconnect here ans blind freddie can see it.

I’m sure it’s Goodies fault we have no backup ruckman and are forced to play 6 tall defenders due to our trash depth as well.

Probably also Goodies fault we have **** all depth to come in to boot Sparrow and Oliver out to the 2s.

Prob also Goodies fault we traded out 3 picks for Tholstrupp to, or that we gave Brayshaw a long term contract with his concussion issues or Oliver one with his off field challenges to.
Have highlighted the things that are absolutely Goody's fault.

1. He wanted Grundy. Couldn't make it work so we were forced to trade him. What we have this year is a result of his inability as a coach.
2. He plays Sparrow coz hes a favourite, nothing to do with depth
3. If you dont think Goody pounded the table for Gus and Oliver staying and us having to pay them what we did on the back of it coz that was the market I dont know what to tell you. You cant be helped.

Who do we have to come in and play for Sparrow?

Sparrow is shit but not like we have anyone else better to go.

Our last 3 trade periods have been absolutely butchered and people here trying to blame the coach for it is comical.

Our list decisions turned to shit after Lamb took over, not when Goodwin became head coach.

Missed the other point, no one is forcing Goody to play as many useless talls as he does, thats his decision to go tall. Again, he would have say-so over who we re-sign and keep and who we let go coz its his gameplan.

lol, you could find anyone in the VFL to do what Sparrow does. The coach wanted him re-signed, one of his favs, and has been playing him non stop to justify that dumb re-signing. Its so obvious.

This is hilarious, the reason we have Brown, Fullarton, Tomlinson, Schache, Jefferson, Adams etc all playing reserves is because goody wants a long kicking contested defense game. How the **** is that hard to understand

He is playing a long contested game because of the list. He tried playing the corridor earlier in the season and the list wasn’t up for it so he has had to revert back so we don’t get thumped every week.

So you've already established elsewhere that you think we should look to the draft and trade out players with currency to rebuild. While there are others who believe we should trade away picks for quality players and go all in with this group to have another crack at a flag.

Who do you think is going to be the person who has the final say on that list strategy?

Still can’t believe you are defending this bloke with that record. Could argue he hasn’t got 1 right.
No one is defending him, we are saying they are both to blame. **** them both off.

Which of those players has Lamb recruited for us to actually use?
I said a month ago Billings has done more in games than Sparrow has this year. I also dont know why you keep saying that we need a veteran to replace Sparrow like hes some key to success, you could play any other under 23 on our list and get the same if not better results.

But now we've reverted we are being thumped every week.

I don't think either Goody or Lamb have done well since 2021. We haven't added much quality through trades and are being burned by overly generous contracts.

But Goody hasn't really used the players Lamb brought in. Schache has played about 1.25 games since coming over; Fullarton 0. Yeah they may be spudly but we've trotted out cooked campaigner* like BBB, 2023 TMac and Petty instead. Worth giving them more of a look imo.

Ditto with Sparrow - give Laurie/KBrown/Sestan or whoever a month in the 1s. Maybe they'll lift to the level.

Goody seems to have his 22 he likes and wants to stick with that as much as possible.

Funnily enough, when "the list wasn't up" to playing that style we beat the Bulldogs and Hawthorn easily

The ****? Lol
We are 4-8 in the last 12 which includes the style change
We were better at the start of the year 😂

Bloody swing and a Miss

Started out better until we started getting thumped playing that style.

Our list is to shit to execute on it consistently and you know it. Really think Oliver, Viney and Sparrow with there break away speed is going to be able to win a flag playing that style?

Eat you stupid potato!
