Fair enough, just looks petty on the surface... why waste your time on that bottomless pit of a club?, surely we have better things to talk about. Hopefully I am not too late to the party.
The tread was originally about the dopers doping but became one focused over the past few years to anything Essendon related, or more to be précised, anything negative about them in the news or the public forum.
Fair enough.
When the .... hits the fan in the hanger I am always happy to take pleasure reading about it, but let's not be like we have over the past few days in using this tread to be derogatory to past Hawthorn players or officials. There are other treads for that if that is what floats your boat.
If it stays open, the tread that is, stay on course and hang it on that the black and red mess that they call the Essendon Football Club, not us or those connected to us!
Thanks (but in writing the above, i do realise that thread headings are like white lines on Indian highways, they only there as a guide with no expectations that one drives within the lanes (you have to be there to see it!))

FFS, they ran the biggest doping regime the sport has ever seen, they lied, played dumb, covered it up and then squealed scapegoat for literally years.
Their supporters, or at least a shit tonne of them, carried on like Hird and his ilk should never have been investigated to start with, and that Jobe should never have lost his brownlow.
Some of them are still doing it, and a certain few bring it all up every 6-12 months asking for apologies and “the truth to finally come out”.

Hawks drafting in 2004 was not immediately liked by many posters in social media.
I guess they preferred Wallace’s opinion that he had stolen the draft than our own clubs discussion about why, when
not disagreeing with the facts, just the look. Play on.
