The word 'literally' is superfluous. He is a legend of the HFC and AFL.

Jesus ****ing Christ. He's ALSO an official Legend in the HOF. Hence the literally comment - hence the word legend was capitalised. Nobody was saying he isn't a legend also. You are being petty over nothing, and this is coming from someone who loves pettiness.

Soooo.. Finn also clocked a 21.6 in the YoYo Test, which I believe is quite high. Mixed of pace and endurance, he's gonna climb that draft board isn't he?
A big-bodied, tall, inside mid with great burst speed and endurance? Who would want that?

No matter where we are forced to match a bid we will be getting a bargain in Finn!

I don’t know what the point is of having Finn test at all. If his manager is on board with getting him to Hawthorn, just pull him from it. What possible benefit is there for him or the club?

Agree with you, but Finn said he's also auditioning for 17 other clubs if we don't take him and we had not committed, so that's why he's there.

I'd say it's because Haw thorn don't appear to be overly romantic about these situations. If Finn is availble at the selection we rate him at then we'll take him. If not we pass. Gotta keep your hand close to your chest, always clubs sniffing around for an advantage come draft day.

The duo winners managed 21.8 this year, so yeah, 21.6 is very good.

Dammit Finn. Steady on. We only want to use our second round pick on you.

Isn't he eligible to be paid more etc. if he goes as Top 10 or 1st Round or something?

Also, if the side is competitive then I say we should encourage it

If we are going to pick him, then it’s going to happen that we will match whatever bid right? So his draft spot won’t change based on the combine...unless his results are so impressive that someone bids crazy early, which again is a bad result for us.
He doesn’t need to be competitive in a combine test, just put your feet up Finn!

Finn tested extremely well at the draft combine.
The Hawks have been tracking him for a few years and would love him at the club but have not committed firmly to him.
I hope the club does the right thing and matches whatever is bid on Finn.
It would be disappointing to not match considering he is steadily improving and if drafted will become a 3rd generation hawk.
Initially I thought based on last year Finn would go 2nd round others thought later, but his steady improvement may have other
clubs wanting a player with Finn's potential.
Here's hoping he becomes a hawk!

Just saw the tweet sent out by the club showing photos from the club’s Father-Son Father-Daughter Day yesterday. Just saw that Paul Hudson has three boys.
