Too nervous to go to the live sites tomorrow, went to the AIA centre in 2018 to watch and that was the worst train home. Think I'm watching it home by myself on my comfy new couch.

Maybe when we've won a flag, that stress of winning another will go away and I will try and get a ticket to watch.

Please win Pies.

We need to ruin any singing of that John Denver song by Lions fans. It won’t be played at the G, but they’ll still sing it.

It’s an embarrassment to footy.

Keeping Cameron goalless would be the preferred course of action. The chant would also come in handy, although we need to be more strategic in its use. Drowning out that stupid song would be a misuse of our supernatural power.🧐

For Hodge it will be Brisbane versus Brisbane. What they do or don’t do. We’re there for contrast and comparative purposes only.

Until the final siren, at which point our presence will finally be a knowledged.😁
That has seemed to be the attitude towards us from multiple experts in each of our finals this year.

How good is this?
Watching the parade and the boys come out on stage, hearing the crowd and raising the cup.
Sinking in now. So bloody exciting, love following this football club.
Let’s hope we get the win tomorrow, so proud to be a Pies supporter and know that they will leave it all out there tomorrow.

CARN PIES!!!!

Maybe Nick is going to play full time midfield this week
Even though Nick is smooth and calm, I am sure beneath that exterior he is very keen on showing who the best in comp is.
Hope he can lower the eyes instead of trying to do too much around goal.

This could be where he really helps deliver the knock out blow and take home Norm Smith.

I think the pattern of this game will be a familiar one. Being the better pressure team, we'll get opportunities early. Need to take them like we did against Dees and did not against Giants. The game will then settle down and Lions will work their way back. Third quarter we'll again come out hard. No McStay to get on top as he has in our first two finals, but with the Lions lesser team defence we should expect our smalls to be more involved. If we're heading into the last we'll again look to hold on.

This pattern of game is familiar to us, especially in finals, because we are usually the better pressure team and this is how a big game generally plays out with a pressure differential. We saw it under Buckley and we're seeing it under McRae. The Lions Prelim was another example, with Carlton the better pressure team.

The nerves and excitement of a GF can effect this pattern. If the Lions get on top early then we'll adjust and play more attacking in the 2nd than usual, we have played contextually all year and even moreso in finals, going very defensive in the last as an example. The winner will of course be determined by which team can best take advantage during their periods of dominance.
