I dont think petch stays after next year . We cant offer salary wise what will be offered to go home
Then we might well get a decent pick then. Better then throwing him away for steak knives now.

So you think you should get more for an uncontracted kelly than for a contracted Neale .
If your answer is yes you are a dumb *******
Perhaps that was where we missed Sammy's influence on the players - let's face it Sammy wasn't renowned for his niceties when he was a player and can recall many of our midfielders complimenting Sammy on getting the best out of them. From my observation Mitchell + Van Berlo = good but Van Berlo + Rosa = just so so???This couldn’t be any more true
At some stages this year our players got made to look very soft
Acres would basically have to be a late pick, hasnt shown enough to be worth too muchWhat are our thoughts regarding SPP and Acres?
Personally I'd prefer Acres - more skilled and versatile. Given that we have plenty of senior mids taking up centre square time, I think we should be looking at picking up someone who can play a role on a HFF/Wing/HBF while offering a midfield rotation. Acres can do that. I think he has a lot of unrealised potential due to mismanagement and injuries. I also imagine that St Kilda will be more motivated sellers than Port, given their need to acquire picks for their various trade targets. Pick 33 could get it done for Acres, but I doubt it is enough for SPP.
SPP is younger and would offer a point of difference with his aggression, but I think he'd struggle to fit into our game plan because of his poor skills. He's wasteful in front of goal, kicking 10.18 this past season, and gives away two frees for every one he is awarded. There are also the reported off-field issues.
His career kicking efficiency is 51.6%, which would comfortably be the worst among our midfield group.I'm surprised at how many people on here don't realise how poor SPP's kicking is. Trying to talk about it as if it is just a minor deficiency.

Of coure it would do it ! Its way overs thats why . Its a fair bit more than both neale and sheil trades and they were contracted A grade mids .No need to get narky. 11 and 14 should just about do it. A top 10 pick would be better but may be difficult to trade into.
That's too much coming our way, you can keep 36. PeaceI'll just give you guys what you want -
Kelly, Pick 36 + Jordan Clark for Pick 14 + 34
There, now have your celebration. Peace
But they aren’t blokes we can risk getting booked for running straight lines at big moments. And I think he is a better option than Hutchings. Also, do we really need more inside grunt? We’ve already got Shuey Yeo Redden Sheed Hutchings and now hopefully Kelly in there.
If we’re looking at recruiting more midfielders on top of (or instead of) Kelly it needs to be someone who can play on the wing in Masten’s absence.

I’d blow my load if we got Acres. Personally think you’re right in regards to unrealised potential he has. Think if there’s anyone to do it, it’ll be eagles who bring the best out in him. Has shown glimpses of absolute quality. Just needs to get a proper crack at one position in the team rather than played as a Mr Fix it like he gets used at the saints
Yeah I'd play Acres on a wing personally. He averaged ~21 touches across 2017-18 - so he can clearly find the footy. Also, do we really need more inside grunt? We’ve already got Shuey Yeo Redden Sheed Hutchings and now hopefully Kelly in there.

Im putting on my Obeanie1 hat on and try a 3way
Wce
Get tim kelly issac smith
Lose petracelle + 24 + future 1st
Geelong
get 11+ future first
Lose kelly + 3rd
Values kelly approx 2250 which is more than danger slightly less than contracted neale
Hawks
Get petracelle + 24 + 3rd ( geelong )
Lose 11 + smith
Value = pick 45 + smith for petracelle
We offer issac smith a 2 year contract with a trigger for 3rd year as he is only getting 1 year atm . Bit like the mitchell and lewis deals . Hawks also put $ towards his salary
We lose petracelle but I have a feeling big offers for him will roll in next year we cant match .
Hi MiguelAmazing that after being told three times I'm not going to respond to his trolling on his own board, he continues to try to engage me on his own board. This lack of basic comprehension is getting to the stage that some educational experts should be getting involved.
Thanks for listening to the podcast though champ, always nice to get the listener numbers up Some would say it's getting a little obsessive but hey, you do you.

Still has pace and very damaging with ball in hand .
Our window is now and he is way better than both masten and petracelle on a wing or HFF .
The trade more than that . It gives a smith for 2 years in our window and lets us keep our 14 and 33 this yearI wouldn't trade Perch for Smith.
One has one eye on retirement the other just started
What? Neale was 6 and 19 with 30 going back. Shiel was 10 and 12 with 37 going back. 11 and 14 is not significantly more than either of them, its arguably the same or less.
You're forgetting (conveniently) the best player in the comp was worth 9 and 28. He was RFA and Adelaide said they would match unless you traded, so trade you did. Kelly is no Dangerfield so worth a lot less. What? Neale was 6 and 19 with 30 going back. Thanks for admitting you are being less than respectfulTo be fair I'm doing similar. I'm being polite and respectful over there but being a campaigner here. Only directed at him(/her/schler) though.
you are forgetting we could have played the $$$ game and adelaide would have been outpriced, and we could have sorted it with dangers next contractYou're forgetting (conveniently) the best player in the comp was worth 9 and 28. Personally anything more than 22 and 33, I'd walk and say bugger off, go to the draft and we'll do the same. I'd rather he went to Freo than pay more.

and you could have had him for less when he was contractedYou would be right if Tim Kelly was contracted.
Bullshit Adelaide had more cash thats why you had to tradeThanks for admitting you are being less than respectful

again we are the only club to trade for a rfa of note
it says we are decent
