Nah it will be Danger and New Crows coach then it will be Crows 2016 flag favourites. The endless cycle. We will be relegated to has beens or almost also rans.

Good. We seem to go better when we are unnoticed.

Lol. Are people actually saying they'd rather be in our position than the crows position so we can fly under the radar? Am I reading that right? Stop deluding yourselves.

Don't put words in my mouth... All i'm saying is we struggled with the hype this season and we'd better off without the hype next year.

That doesn't mean I'd wouldn't like to be in 8 atm, of course I would, I'd give anything up to be in 8 atm (like getting wins over Carlton and Brisbane like we should've). For that reason we don't deserve to be in finals contention.

Yeah and a shame Judd was subbed off early in the Crows Carlton game or we would have been looking at a different scenario now

I don't think we struggled with the hype. I just think we sucked and a lot of the players mentally expected it all to magically happen. I welcome any hype that may come our way.

If you're going to win a flag you're gonna have to inevitably deal with hype.

Regular season hype as a result of good wins for premiership points - good. Because it means the team is playing well and looking the goods for said flag.

Pre-season hype as a result of last years results and getting a recruit that has to learn to fit into the system - bad. Because it means the team is being judged on results that they have no control over.

Starting to sound like some Crows supporters in recent years who were saying that it is better to not make the finals than to lose a final. o_O

Good luck to the Crows for making the finals. I wish we were playing finals.

Frankly, this season we have had bigger problems than being talked about.

We've coped with hype once in 18 years.

It's as if Williams infected us with the culture of staggers he was exposed to at Collingwood.

Port Adelaide, of all clubs, the finals specialists for over a hundred years, "chokers" (2001, 2002, 2003), a record loss to our archrival (2005) and the darkest day of them all (2007).

Thank goodness for clinging on in that famous Prelim.

It's almost like we're a whole different club.

I felt dirty saying that I'm sorry

The tragic irony of it all. He made us so un-Port Adelaide-like and we haven't really recovered, although to Ken's absolute credit, our performances in our past five finals have restored some faith. We just have to get there again with the benefit of a top four finish.
