I was listening to the AA call for a little while last night and was really annoyed when Butch took the set shot that resulted in his first goal. He'd scrubbered a couple of kicks before then and Kane Cornes was jabbering on saying he should give off a quick handball - Look Broadbent's on his own, Polec's on his own - and not take the shot. I know Kane can be a negative kind of guy but how is Butcher ever going to build his confidence in taking set shots in the heat of a game if he's always looking for the cheap give off?
I was thinking the exact same thing. We all know Butch is not a great set shot but is he any worse than some of the other forwards going around Cloke/Waite/Westoff?
Yeah, didnt like Kanes comments at all.

With all due respect to Kane's great footy career at Port, there's a very good reason why he was never considered captaincy material and rarely (if ever?) even included in the leadership group.

See: muffed kick to Ebert.

Back yourself, champ.

Can someone please decipher this rubbish by Richard Earle.

"Hinkley had put public heat on Polec, frustrated the wingman so crucial to Port’s drive “shouldn’t be in the twos”."

Harsh truth inspires Polec
JARED Polec has revealed how a warts-and-all midweek talk with coach Ken Hinkley inspired a compelling return to the winners’ circle at his old Brisbane stomping ground.

I read the article OGC. I was more concerned at the fact that my year 11 daughter said her English teacher would lose her shit if she wrote like that.

Ditts being talked up as a passionate Port man is laughable considering he hasn't put his money where his big mouth is & bought a membership let alone a game day ticket in years.

Even when we were flying & one of the most watchable teams in 13-14 he got drilled by Roo & Tredders for being a tight ass & not contributing to the club in most ways a passionate supporter would.

Doesn't he call most of the home games? Not sure why he would buy a ticket also.

Growing up I I spent every penny I had following Liverpool, then one of my best mates made the team and I never had to buy a ticket again, it didn't make me any less of a fan.

Supporting the club he apparently goes for would be a starting point.

My post count is irrelevant. I've been here for a while. Here you're on your 9th post calling people here idiots. In nearly all your posts you're crying about something. ****off if you don't like opinion. Stick to Radio .

The irony of your post is amazing considering you whinge about everything. My initial post was actually being positive just wondering why a guy gets slated for being a former number 1 in his chosen sport.
ive tried not to be negative on here as I love the club however despite liking Kenny I don't see him as our next premiership coach, and I think Hartlett should be more of a leader on the pitch or have the VC stripped from him.(think these are the only things I've cried about)
I won't be posting on here again as I would much prefer to be debating footy over a beer with mates than having a childish spat with some anonymous morons on an Internet forum so you win (probably the only thing you have won in your pathetic ***kin life)

Buying a membership does not equate to buying an entry ticket. When I lived interstate and overseas I was still a paid up PAFC member even though I never attended a home game.

Ditts was a very good squash player, no doubt about it, but his comments on anything football related have no more relevance than those of some BigFooty newbie like yourself.
