And MarnSweemey will each score double tons.

Maybe

India’s bowlers aren’t much chop other than Bumrah. Rana and Reddy suck and Siraj is way too hot and cold to be an effective test bowler long term. Shami coming back might change things but he’s gonna be rusty.

Australia’s bowling line up is still easily the best in the world despite what people might think and the batters should find form pretty quickly

I just wanted to say MarnSweeney.

If ever a Test opener reminded me of myself in my grade cricket days, it's McSweeney. Open the batting against superior opposition and play and miss at a million balls, struggle to hit it off the square, survive a drop catch and close LBW shout, but somehow make it to stumps with a strike rate of 40.

Hope he goes big tomorrow.

How would you compare with Mitchell Johnson ?
Hard to compare anyone to Mitch, that 6 months against England and South Africa is as good as anyone's ever bowled, but you take that out and he averaged 32

Throw Brett Lee into that mix, and I think those three come out pretty evenly (Lee, Johnson, Starc).
All similar types as well.

Starc is the pick of the 3.

I 100% Agree. Done it for longer and better than Johnson. Johnson had an amazing six or so months in tests where he did it as well as anyone ever however Starc's peak in ODI's was also as good as anyone ever, If not better. 2014/15 World cup. 22 Wickets in 8 matches at an average of 10 and a strike rate of 17. Also the only player to be the leading wicket taker in 2 World Cups.

I personally think Starc is your second picked pace bowler for Australia in ODI's ever.

Curious, who do you have first?

A great day of cricket after the first test, the Aussies are back. The Adelaide oval is putting on a good show...

Lee would be close though. Lee for most of his career was playing with Mcgrath and Warne, who took a lot of wickets. He also continually bowled 150 to 160 in his spells. Though he was probably easier to face then then the two lefties

I personally rate Lee just that touch lower as he didn't have to be the main strike bowler for most of his career. Starc is by no means perfect but he's had to be the main strike bowler for pretty much his whole career.
