Well, our slow starts got cured this week.

12:7 at half time last week, 13:2 at half time this week...

Also have now won 7 of the eleven games at the Gabbattoir for the year - and currently have won the last six played there.

Harwood has earnt his spot in the best 22 now, really glad to see!

More time in the midfield would be great as well.

Good size to him, runs really hard, breaks lines and makes good decisions.

Touch of the Michael Voss about him I'm thinking.

This year we've broken the Cat's hoodoo over us.

3 point win at home and a 1 point loss at Simmonds, nuff said.

On a more personal note, this last game has reminded me why I support the lions.

Even with the amount of shit we as members/supporters have had to put up with over the last month, all the dramas and charades, our boys not once gave up, sure there were hiccups, but they never packed it up and called it a night.

This is why I barrack for this club, that 'never say die' attitude, an attitude that goes back a long way.

Lisle has to take that game and build on it. Attacked the contest when it was his time to go, and kicking three goals in one of the better shut down defenders in the league in Longeran. Kicking for goal under pressure was great too, those last two were far from easy shots.

He was running around as the water boy in the reserves today, so I'd assume he should get a full pre-season in.

You're right though, he hasn't had a full go yet - but he has shown glimpses of what he is capable of.

His brother had his break out season at 22. Claye turns 22 next year, with a full pre-season under his belt he could really express his full potential.
