To be eligible, both parents and yourself must be Athenian citizens.
And you must have been born in wedlock.
No bastards allowed to vote.

As an addition to the above, you must also be a free person to vote. You can be the good parts of above and still miss out if you are not a free person. Also, their idea of Athenian citizen is literally "we recognise that your family is Athenian and thus you are, everyone else can GAGF" it's not an own a house, get a job, become a citizen type deal.

There was a middle between free and slave, just meant they looked at you shifty instead of straight rejection. You might even end up on their left flanks in the frontlines, how good is that?

As an aside, Sparta being the military "yay slave and boobs" mob, their military was ID at 7, train for a decade, then you might be good enough to have slaves and search for boobs to like. Athenians were a bit more free in it being a 16-17 ID and 2 year service set up. Then again, they were the democratic mob who built walls to keep Sparta out and them in for those plagues and fire so

So if you liked boobs and slaves, Sparta was your mob if you had the physicality to be worth it, until they met Athenian walls and went "how do we scale these?" cause they lacked any sort of tactics outside of charge and throw spear then stab.

Think I just have poor timing with things.

Was a Friday when the old man fell halfway through a wall, then it was a Friday when they went "yep, we're done" and carted him off to Broadmeadows without telling anyone, so I thought when Friday went and nothing happened, no negative update, road clear, go to rehab in your future.

Nope, Mondays also suck.

Apparently they did a brain scan and noticed fluid had replaced some other fluids in his brain and there's damage to his hippocampus where they're talking not quite ready for Dementia, Alzheimers or Delerium just cause he's still a fall risk and they're not comfortable testing further with that, as fluid has also damaged a bit of his liver, though very minor and not an apparent issue as just needs to up his nutrient intake and more water, like no shit, I buy him slabs of 1.5s as it is that he never damn used.

Thankfully just seems to be short term memory is iffy, long term still there, and I only figured today that since nothing said on Friday, take a Monday off to centre myself and back to work after 3 weeks...

12-6 is also a shit visitor window when you get calls at like 9pm about he's being combative and "yeah sure, gimmie 40mins and I'll talk him down", hence the rando dinners at 8pm, dunno how I'm going to work that around on a 9-5...

Whelp, back to late night calls about how;

It's a house, not a hospital,and I am gaslighting and being led around like a bitch apparently.
I flip between me being me and me being called the uncle that we don't like, moving down in the world....
He's hung up on me 4x now, twice without even saying hello, once with a nurse in the background confirming everything I was saying. And from her tone, getting very annoyed with him.
They closed 24mins ago.

On the plus side, just updated work that "yeah, tomorrow is a wash, maybe Wednesday?" as looks like I'll be in Broadmeadows from midday to stick my boot up his arse and read scripture about how insulting it is to be associated with that uncle....
