Ok, so who in the Crows admin fu**ed this one up?

Dunstall? WTF!

I demand to know who stepped out of line and got something right?

I think they know they're ****ed, they might go out diligently this way supported by some PR bullshit.

Even Rowey has turned on the club, pressure from supporters is too much. Players don't care, we are the worst pressure team since the bye.

Dunstall will be no slouch. Should be some very nervous people at the club at the moment. I hope to God the report sheds more light of the CM debacle!

I thought ROB was a revelation and only tired just before the last couple of games.
He did make more of a difference than you think and will poll well those games in the Club Champion Award.
How many of those games did we win?

Ruckmen are rarely the difference between winning or losing, unless they're freaks like Gawn, NicNat and (to a lesser extent) Grundy.

Yes but one of many questions such as:' Does the club place too much emphasis on all of the above when concidering traditional club values and how does that effect on field performance, player retention etc, member satisfaction and engagement etc, exist and will remain unanswered until every facet of this now commercial organization is turned over.

A successful club is the sum of all things.
I couldn't give a rat's arse what the figures tell us and I dont pay money to be impressed by such things.
To me the "admin" side.provides the funds for the Footy Department.

We do that well. Well to an extent.that we can start funding a.new training facility and we never here about any compromises coming from lack of funding.

What this review seems to be looking at is whether or not the Football Department, headed by Burton, is using that funding well.

Coaches
Performance staff
Players
Other Football Department staff etc

And of course are their philosophies conducive to success.

Most of us here would say no.

It's never too late to sack people.

Essendon sacked coaches mid-season and immediately improved, preferring to go in with no one than who they had
Well yeah you know that, we all know that. But that's not how we operate.

Even if the review says, just as a hypothetical, Burton is the root of the problem, we will look after him, move him sideways, perhaps take over a ping pong team for him to manage a la Smart.

I think this is a very modern way of looking at things but I still maintain there is much missing in the way of culture at this club which underpins and influences many aspects of on-field success.

Despite the level of professionalism at AFL level these days, players still want to fight for a cause and represent something bigger than a paycheck. Imagine the material Both Pyke and Hardwick had to work with in this regard during the G.F and how it influenced their respective teams mindset.

It's never going to be a case of pure science void of all human emotion no matter what levels of professionalism we reach.

All this money, all these members, all these goddamn impressive figures yet we cant front up the coin for a simple little watering hole where the players and members can mingle with each other post game????
Never mind we the ungteatful consumer, do you really think the players thrive on this sort of shit?

More than enough anecdotal evidence has leaked from the club over the past decade to suggest that this is a very real issue affecting on field performance, that our untouchable corporate overloads willingly chose to ignore.

I still think the process is farcical and purely because they felt they had no other choice, and the fact it hasn't already started it a joke...

But I am happy with Dunstall chairing the review - I don't think he'd compromise his integrity by protecting people based on relationships.
Whilst you think it farcical, surely the choice of 4 on this review proves to you that they want outcomes. I think, not surprisingly, many of you can’t believe they’d be doing this seriously, but I think Roo was right the other night when he said they all want what’s best for the Club. With these appointments for the review, perhaps give them the benefit of the doubt (i know it’s hard given the history)?

Let's hope so. All we all want is to be serious about being better. Sometimes you make decisions and they don't work out, but we want to see that all decisions are club first and club doesn't mean the people who work there, it means club success.

I'd take Roo more seriously if I didnt continually bump into him all over town besides at AFC HQ. And that's not even taking into account seeing his ugly mug on TV or hearing his voice every morning on radio.

I'll take Roo seriously, whenever the time comes that Roo takes his job at AFC seriously.

Does anyone know what sort of relationship Dunstall and Pavlich have with Mark Riccuto?

Positive friendly or negative dislike of each other?

Sun even shines on a dog’s arse occasionally

And now imagine how good it would be if Dunstall could've cast an eye over our in-season football operations

Bit conflicting given Hawks late flurry for the 8
Better late and doing it properly i reckon
Some are just happy with emojis

Sun nice and warm now?

And hallelujah Jen !
