Season Highlights:
  • successfully captained the Furies to a straight-sets finals exit
  • booted Pickitt from the co-captaincy

By Jabba73

Furies co-captain James Colorado took over the reins of a club reeling from the loss of several big name players in a 2 season exodus that almost saw the club fold. In that time, his calm and engaging manner has lead a revival of the once Bombers-lite club into one that is proud of its past, while almost completely reinventing itself. Some shrewd recruiting, as well as letting go some dead wood, has reinvigorated the club.

It is hard to believe a player with less than 50 games under his belt is not only leading a club, they are also improving it. Never one to shy away from a challenge, both real or imagined, James Colorado is happy to engage in his own match threads and across the wider media landscape. He is not afraid to laugh at his own expense, which makes his contributions to match threads very engaging.

An early indication of his strong leadership skills saw him avoid eschew dodge escape delegate the committee duties to his co-captain so he could remain immune from the consequences of his actions and not need to defend the actions of his team mates. Future Admin application material right here folks!

His forays into the world of SFA media have been mostly team related, including player milestones, we look forward to him turning the spotlight onto the rest of the competition, as he accepts that his influence is rapidly expanding and is now being recognised.

Not a very brave call, tipping everyone not on a club list missed out on votes in Season 23. They are in good company

Spare a thought for BLUEALLTHRU, hasn’t even left the pub from his early lunch over in the west. Guess that will have to do as the pre-show drinks.
Heading home to the computer now.

One of the real good guys of the league, not one of those faux, self righteous pain in the arse good guys.

Standards were pretty low in Season 23.

That was when everybody was saying "NaturalDisaster is the league's best match thread poster".

Up to the end of last season he had been the best Admin in my time in the SFA.
