Surely not? That would be self-sabotaging. Both of these, particularly the cross, are such iconic and important parts of the club's branding and identity and have been around for nearly a century.
Well if you think about it. Christmas and Easter have apparently become offensive to approximately 150 people in this country so public displays of
The cross will be next. And we are St Kilda.

Over the weekend I had a dream about the logo.

It was the same crest shape, St Kilda written in the top section instead of St.KFC, with 6 red white and black vertical stripes in the bottom section, ala the 1996 centenary jumper, instead of the cross.

No ribbon.

Along the lines of Stoke City or West Brom.

The design I posted was a complete guess - the FC/year were only tacked on as a possibility. I'd prefer the plain shield myself without those. I think it'll be as simple as removing the ribbon, changing the STKFC to St Kilda and cleaning up the lines.

Logo is very similar to current one we have had since 95. it is basically just a modernised version.
There has been a permanent removal of "fortius quo fidelius" from the bottom. That is really the only change.
Don't be expecting anything radical.
Cheers
The ribbon is what makes the shield looks classy. Will look cheap and tacky without it IMO.

That in itself is radical.

I don’t like it. Probably ONLY positive standout of the club over the decades of failure has been the absolute loyalty of the fans and supporters.
I would not be happy with this at all. It was also a point of difference from the other clubs, none of whom have a motto.

Yeah. But at least we had a voice and got a say in it.🙄
