Wet conditions in Perth are a concern playing the Cats.
We'd want to be prepared to get our hands dirty and not over finesse the ball.
Dangerfield, Selwood Ablett, Guthrie, Duncan (if he plays) etc have bigger bodies and won't be averse to some physical pressure in the wet.

Might be merit in dropping Cox up forward and bringing in someone else. Appleby has been effective in recent weeks as a pressure forward and hitting the scoreboard.
Who goes as the 2nd ruck? That's always the issue when considering dropping Cox. A midfielder? Rupe has done that believe I think.

Yep HBF arena is west Perths home ground, you would recall it from our preseason games we've had there over the last few years. My stomping grounds, played in a gf there. They've revamped the facilities not too long ago and is a good place for them as it's close to Joondalup resort which is where they're staying.

This is the most unpredictable weather I've encountered over here and as mentioned is much like back in Vic. Got my tickets this morning so hopefully it's not too wet hahaha.

Apparently, HBF Arena is in the northern Perth suburb of Joondalup.
West Perth footy club moved there a few years ago.
Recent Collingwood connections with ex West Perth players would be Quinten 'Q-stick' Lynch and Justin Longmuir.
Old time West Perth players that came to the 'Pies would be Ray 'Gabo' Gabelich and Bill Valli
I reckon he will justify it. But it seems a bit early to name a footy ground after Quaynor

Roughead has done it in the past. Not sure Grundy requires a lot of respite.
Esava would be occupying that role for the Cats, so one of our tall backs would have an opportunity at that time because they only have two talls.

Yeah, I guess if Grundy goes off for a moment, roughy can take that position, while someone fills in his spot in the backline. Even though usually its the ruck/forward that gives ruck relief.

Pre-season begins monday (for 1-4 years, but I'm expecting some seniors)

Who do you want me to look out for? Or anything in particular?
I want you to be the first to break any training the house down stories.

Can't be Adams or Greenwood though, becasue they're givens.

Just how they come back and for players there who are NOT on our List

Wilson and Murphy please Jen. I'm sure they're gonna save us in 2021.

Both could be Next Seasons Josh Daicos

Be interested to know how Daicos' ankle is going after his surgery; whether he trains, etc.
You’d hope he’d be recovered or close to it by now. It’s been nearly 2 months.
