Good to hear Ruscoe is adding another string to his bow, is a great utility size. Very much a Goldsack replacement as a back or forward.
Disappointing Sier didn’t impress, don’t know how long I can hold onto the hope of him being a gun.
Very excited about Noble, every track report has been Noble BOG! Will be amazing to see the kid flourish.
Rantall sounded busy and with a goal or 2 looks very promising, can’t wait for him to get his debut, if this keeps up wouldn’t be surprised if it’s soon.
The senior team is settled excerpts for the likes of Daicos/Madgen/T.Brown/Thomas one of which will make way for Stevo, based on last night I’d be moving out Thomas.
Varcoes move to defence will be great. Can’t wait to see Wilson-Quaynor-Kelly-Murphy push for seniors throughout the season.

Ruscoe gave a good account of himself playing out of the square much of the night against Howe. He's pretty quick on a lead and has some strength about him. Showed some poise withe ball in hand too.
His kicking lets him down on set shots though to be played forward. I'd prefer Tom Wilson as a more natural forward amongst the younger, mid-size types.

I thought Sier was pretty good last night. Out pointed Wills for mine.
It was pretty difficult as a centre square mid for the white team when matched up against Grundy, Pendles, Sidey, Adams, DeGoey, Elliott.

I found he struggled to get his hands on the ball, but he was up against Roughy. But he had a few moments. Still very raw especially within his new role, so it'll take time.

and Missing pretty much all last season

Liked the reports on Rantall and Ruscoe. Could be a very good draft for us if these two plus Bianco can cement their places in the next couple of years. I Think Rantall will be the first one to do so. Has the ability to be a really solid goal kicking midfielder imo, has a knack for finding the goals.

I reckon could play RD2 IF we wanted to Fast Track him.

Keep Callum Brown Honest as he could play his Postion

I don’t think we should change the chemistry of the team too much but it’s always good to have players keeping other players honest.

True but been few months since we played so I don't think the Chemistry be as big thing as Normal.

Keep Players Honest make sure they don't Relax and Feel too Safe in there Postion

Agreed. I see all three of them as long term players for us.

Thanks so much Albert Parker, Jen2310 and Daicos Torpedo for the comprehensive match sim reports. Terrific detail and analysis, reading them I felt like I was there. And even if I had been, I doubt that I would have noticed everything that you guys did.

Well done and thank you. Being based up here I rarely get to see training or matches in the flesh, so I rely on the reports and insights of fellow travellers.

These reports are the main reason I joined BF.

Why would we choose to deprive the team of an exciting player with X Factor? Surely he plays if he's fit.

Agreed and it's not like there is a locked in format for him to play in if he's not picked either?

Shown that a break doesn't really affect him, played pretty well in both the finals after his lay-off with suspension last year.

AFL has told clubs they have the greenlight to organise practice matches for their players who don't get picked against other teams in the state.

Don’t play Stevo, still needs to earn his spot. Long term this will do him good eventually.

Are you a Richmond fan?o_O Not sure why Stevo has to earn his spot. He's been punished enough for last year's brain fade, and this year in pre-season and round 1, he was still coming back from glandular fever. We're not gonna hold him back for that, surely? If he's fit and healthy, we'd be crazy not to play him.

No interest in food, it's preparation and eating, or sheep? Oh.. ok you're from Canberra! I understand where you're coming from now.
