always found it strange that Lyon bowls poorly on the spinning wicket of the country the SCG

he so needs that bounce

It hasnt really been that spin friendly last 10 or so years though has it?

I saw stat that at over last 5 years its been least friendly venue for spinners, this particular test it should give some help on days 4/5 but overall scg has been very flat or maybe something for quick's the old spinners paradise scg is long gone though.

Should we abandon the new year's test altogether? Play the Sydney test in the lead up to Christmas then finish off the test summer with Boxing Day.

November and December for home tests.

January for BBL with our full galaxy of stars available. Double headers up the ying yang

That's not the worst idea I've ever heard and it would allow shield cricket throughout the test series

The stupid comment was Labuschagne and Head should have been brought on when they were five down. I mean wow. The named bowlers are ripping through them, so take them off and bring on the part timers.

• Less short pitched bowling, and
• Bring the field in, and actually try to get the number 9 out
