We have a pretty crappy bowling attack. Don't look threatening at all.

I rate our bowling attack on pitches that give them a little bit. The problem is that we don't really have guys who can create a whole lot for themselves. We don't really have any genuine express quicks, and nobody is much good with reverse swing. The most effective bowling all series by far was Pattinson when he was chucking it down at 145kph+. But he only got to that speed when he was bowling the briefest of spells. It's not his natural style.

This tour is showing us what happens when Starc doesn't have vicious bounce to work with, and there's nothing in the pitch to give Siddle his nippy seam movement. Despite what people say, I think Bird would struggle a fair bit in these conditions too.
