Although the people you should hate most are the idiots at your club who gave him a 5 year contract, how can you not dislike the bloke who wasted 5 years at your club, and will now leave them in terrible shape? He's effectively spent 5 years at Richmond, and you blokes haven't gone anywhere. It's as iftime has just passed you by. Your list still isn't anywhere near a premiership

Personally I hate Terry Wallace as much as I hate Carlton and Collingwood, can't wait to see the back of the washed up used car salesmen, untill of course next year when I have to listen to Frawley and Wallace in the media

Leave Wallace to coach the side from the remainder of the year.
But, play the kids...Richardson, Brown, Simmonds, Cousins, Bowden get limited senior appearances. Back the kids in...you may pinch a few wins along the way.
At the end of 2009, appoint someone like Alan Richardson, who was at Coburg for a while coaching these kids.

The tigers won't sack Wallace this year for one they cant afford to and secondly at this stage they have no suitable replacement

Get your facts right!! We didn't want him.He had no say in the matter. There is no way that Hawthorn was going to appoint him..The board were too smart for that. Why do you think his nickname is Terry WALLET?? He only left the bulldogs for more money at Richmond. Another mistake that Richmond made. I'd LOVE for Richmond to push to get Buckley straight away because that may force a spill at Collingwood.
Thought he left the Bulldogs because he was "assured" of getting the Sydney coaching job until their members (both of them) kicked up and successfully had Roos (who had been in "caretaker" mode) installed on a more permanent basis.
Richmond came along after that. If memory serves the money and "Wallet" traits were also stemming from the Sydney exercise.

The relevance of the Roos appointment is that P Roos was very very reluctant to take over Swans as interim coach. He made it quite clear it could damage his prospects for Full appointment in 2003.
The real struggle for Tigers will be finding someone stupid enough to wear the "interim coach" hat!
Its not just coach that is trouble... between 1994-2002 Sydney had completely changed the club culture right from TOP (Chairman) to bottom ....so WAY ahead of where Richmond are right now!
They ought leave Wallet in there till ... they get some clue/idea.... where the club want to go and not seek a footy coach to attempt to redesign a whole club with some " 5 yr plan" .
