Glad you asked. I’m going to select the roles randomly but use common sense to ensure I don’t have six random doctors. I’ve decided investigators and doctors can have three max and the shitty town roles like trapper and

Of course if you were asking me am I going to randomise or cast my roles to the players, I ALWAYS randomise. I cast once and that was only because the type of game I ran required that. Usually if I don’t like the list I will re-randomise but otherwise I let random.org do all the work.
