Just like Death, Dodoro gets to you by the end lol We have escaped him thus far but probably couldn't last forever haha

Fair but I would say it’s unlikely any of them become the sort of mid that allows JDG to ply his trade on the forward line without our midfield being severely impacted. Both Treloar and Stephenson going forward are those sort of mids. Bottom line we just don’t have the internal talent to cover what we have traded out. We needed it for cap reasons but it leaves us compromised
Could he be the next marsupial in the backline? He has no obvious attributes for me.May I ask some of you more learned folk than me, Ruscoe was drafted from memory as a defender. Can he play a role for us down back in 2021 & beyond and if so, who would he be freeing up?

Was drafted as a utility. Trained with the defenders early on, but in a scratch match before they went into the hub, they moved him forward. And thats where he has stayed.May I ask some of you more learned folk than me, Ruscoe was drafted from memory as a defender. RFA in 2022 I believe? one year at a time lolPetracca is the man - take it to the bank

By that stage we just salary dump Wills and sign them and Petracca.Defs 2022. Same year as JDG & Moore.
I have a feeling that Norf will go for the safe option and take Phillips with 2, I believe Hollands is the best player in this draft but he comes with a knee issue so Norf wouldn't risk that. Mcdonald will go to Adelaide and Norf probably won't risk Thilthorpe either. We could get Thilthorpe with or 4 maybe, even DGB
You can't read emotions from behind a keyboard, I'm not trying to argue with you - just pointing out the differences in those two competitions. One is much much more ruthless than the other. That is clear. Nothing superficial about it at all.
I do agree we won't agree because you don't want to acknowledge the sh*tty position the club is in. Simple as that.
Moving on, I hope you and your denial minority are happy with the current situation, seems you are.
CB out.
EFA, this competition is ruthless and is nothing like the Olympics in it's competitiveness. The games are all about inclusiveness of your competitors this football competition is about being better than your competitors.
That guy will be delisted quicker than Andrew TranquillliMay I ask some of you more learned folk than me, Ruscoe was drafted from memory as a defender. Can he play a role for us down back in 2021 & beyond and if so, who would he be freeing up?
This is a real possibility, they really rate this draft and have alluded to moving as high as we can in this draft particularly. You’re suggesting we’re going to package one of 14 or 16 with our 2021 first to move up?
Where does your confidence on this stem from?
Get him fit and in the middle next year, Jordan’s impact on the ball is better than anyone on the team bar Pendlebury. 80% midfield 20% forward would be the best option. We need to get back to that rotation system and surprise element in our attacking 50.I think that he’s come to the realisation that he’s not going to ever become that big $$ player he assumed he was already unless he actually puts in the work. The embarrassment of shopping himself around and having no takers was probably the wake up call he needed.
No way, you’d get home and find he’s traded your mower, whipper snipper, drop saw and cordless drill to the neighbor for a pot plant.Ned Guy should be weeding all of our gardens for free
The 5 players you highlight as our hopes for the future all have question marks over them due to their non-selection, mediocre senior appearances last year or application and attitude. You are investing a lot of hope in players who were overlooked or uninspiring in 2020.
Couldn’t really rate it be in volume also so a higher number of picksThis is a real possibility, they really rate this draft and have alluded to moving as high as we can in this draft particularly.
plus the fact a bid in the first round will definitely come for Nick Daicos next year it makes it a no brainer in my opinion also.
Dunn wasn’t crap and Howe had a role change here that allowed him to become good, McDonald isn’t switching positions.Players been Crap at Demons come good with us.
Look at Dunn and Howe
You can make a lot of money off a pot plantNo way, you’d get home and find he’s traded your mower, whipper snipper, drop saw and cordless drill to the neighbor for a pot plant.
Tend to agree. We need to take the Logan McDonald goggles off and try and draft 4 first round quality players this year. Well get him in 2 years when hes matured a bit anyway.I doubt our list management team can afford to take the risk of going all-in on a play for pick 2 that involves us giving up this year’s two first rounders and next year’s.
Imagine if we did and the player selected turned out to be a McCartin/Hogan-like flop? That would be disastrous and too high a risk after our horrific trade period.
I think the idea of swapping next year’s first for pick 15, so we end up with picks 14, 15, 16, Reef McInnes and then Nick Daicos next year, is a much lower risk play than opting for pick 2, McInnes & Daicos.
(It was smart of us to arrange for Reef to run a really bad 2km time trial at the pre-draft testing in an effort to ensure that he’s not taken in the first 13 picks! )
