We're sick of the Jacks.
Time for the Toms
2 of our most successful eras came when a bloke named Jack and a gentleman named Tommy were in charge. Now we're loading up on Jacks and Toms.

Realistically what can we actually offer for Scully? I don't see next year's 1st getting it done.

not sure they could demand more than that to be honest.

28 next season ( i think) and missed most of this year with the ankle injury.

Not for someone of Scullys calibre who is not on big coin.

They need every dollar they can get to keep Kelly, Coniglio and Hopper. A late first they’ll take if it means they can get deals done for those players

Norfff lose trade period for this picture alone

Pretty sure I saw her the other day outside the Flemington housing commission flats.

We won’t be able to afford Scully.

I was told months ago that Scully himself wants to come to us but we cannot afford him. Not sure how it sits now but I was told no chance move on.

I fully understand the concerns about being able to fit him in, but I'm not sure we would have someone do a tour if we didn't think anything could be done?

It's interesting. He's high quality but nearing to slow down phase. They can't go for a great trade because 1) he's not worth it, too old, injuries, and 2) they have to keep their younger guys ahead of older players.

So as a player he's easily worth a top 10 pick IMHO, but with discounts. If the market is active, multiple suitors, then small discount. If Scully wants Tigers, we have $, and GWS are between a rock and a hard place; large discount.

I'm hoping he's said Tigers, happy with contract and off we go. GWS's management sees this is a the least worst way to get $ off their books. We win and GWS win (but still lose a damn good player for poor return)

If the scully touring punt rd thing is legit it means we can definitely fit him in, waste of time otherwise

If we can’t affotd him he wouldn’t be touring our facilities.
Whilst it is a rumour albeit a credible source unless you’ve got access to our books, you can’t say one way or the other if we can afford somebody or not.
Even with the players we have out of contract next year, it’s crazy to think that with guys in charge like Neil Balme and Brendon Gale don’t have plans in place for 12 months from now.

Whatever it is, I really hope it wouldn't involve this year's 1st rounder, strong draft and we could hopefully land a quality player.
