Spot on. This bloke has been overpaid based on his performance by about 300k for the last 4-5 years.

All Baz needs to do is clean up his disposal by foot so he becomes the best he can be.

His work rate has dropped off massively.

Rather than recruit Lobb, the best outcome would be to recruit a genuine ruck and play English as a forward/ ruck. Unfortunately looks like that’s long odds to happen

Hard to see if there is a drop off in work rate (not saying you are wrong) but his disposal by foot is a problem that’s easily identifiable.

Agree with this but for some reason we have cornered ourselves with Tim been our number 1 ruck and therefore we also a cornered into the type of ruck we have

When it comes to Dunkley and his value, I can't get a particular shot at goal by him last year. He was about 30 out directly in front and kicked it out on the full. Elite players don't do that.

I know these are more pressure, and not directly in front, but to say elite players don't miss or shouldn't miss is hogwash. There are a few elites in this clip (and some shocking misses too)

And for those who think we don't get hard done by, check out Beasley's kick. WTF. Had teamsters pushing the crowd out of the way. They were on the ground like the gallery around Tiger Woods at Augusta

He’s a poor tap ruckman. He’s got 3-4 exceptional clearance players beneath him masking how poor he is. You could count on one hand how many great taps he’s had this year to the advantage of a mid in stride. Even when the bounce is to his advantage he still just flaps at the ball without much purpose. He’s played enough games now to know that poor awareness and feel for directing hit outs is just who he is as a ruckman. It’s a real shame because, other than the propensity to fall away physically, he does most other things well enough to be great.

We could play Sweet now and develop him (he would give us more than Bruce is atm). Get an aging ruck eg Goldstein or one that's not getting eg Meek. We need a physical ruck not another lesser version of what we already have.

Bevo said they plan the midfield/ centre clearance set up for each week based on whether they think they will win or lose taps. I'd imagine on past performance they plan around losing most of them nearly every week.

’s level and if things keep going Rozee’s either. Outside of the semi and prelim last year (granted huge pressure filled occasions) he just does not impact the game. Will happily eat my words and I hope I am dead wrong, obviously has a long way to go in his career.
