Just depends what it costs but if we can move Sweet for a pick and use that on him i'd be doing thatFlynn is the one that has shown the most when thrown forward, he's the only one of the three that I'd look at.

Alex Sexton is a pre-agent and reports are GCS asking him to consider a trade.Wouldn't mind if its having a look at a Ballard type
Not for me personally but they have some young blokes like Rosas in that position that show a bitAlex Sexton is a pre-agent and reports are GCS asking him to consider a trade.
Not the greatest defensively but does have genuine goal sense
Feel like this is how it will all go down

Lions Give Pick 15 and 2023 First Rounder
Dogs give Pick 29
Freo Gives Lobb and future 3rd
Dogs trade Schache for Pick upgrade
Dogs sign James Rowe as delisted free agent
Dogs trade Crozier to North for future 3rd
Re-sign JJ, Wallis, and Cordy
Bring in Jones as Free Agent
Out: Butler, Dunks, Martin, Parker (R), Schache, Crozier
In: Lobb, Rowe, Jones
Would he offer more than Mitch Hannan?Alex Sexton is a pre-agent and reports are GCS asking him to consider a trade.

I still remember dunks in a game kicking 2 set shots 30 meters out and only on a slight angel and he missed all the sticks.I tend to agree with this. I would say that Dunks was a good midfielder but not a champion midfielder. His kicking was often not very good. His goal kicking for goal was pretty average. Had games where he would go missing quite a bit. Strong player, but I don't think we will miss him that much. Overall rating 6 to 6.5 out of 10.

No. Hannan's one-wood is to sacrifice his game for his teammates (he's still our best 'blocker' for Naughts)Would he offer more than Mitch Hannan?

If we could somehow turn other late picks of ours into whatever compo picks they get (in a way that leaves them with more points) I don't see why we wouldn't do that too. They'll be trying to make those trades with someone, might as well be us if possible.I think this trade gets done with minimal fuss.
Lions lose 2022 1st, 2023 1st.
Lions gain: Dunks, 600-800 points (2 picks in the 40’s)
Dogs lose: Dunks, 2 picks in the 40’s
Dogs gain: 2022 1st, 2023 1st
There is no need to over complicate it further than that.
We could then flip the lions picks for a top 10 this year if we felt the need or trade on for other assets.
In all likelyhood, the departure of players like JJ, Hunter, et al. will net us a little bit of currency to put the points on the table.
I banter Sexton all the time at Dogs home games for being the most hungry player of all timeAlex Sexton is a pre-agent and reports are GCS asking him to consider a trade.

I wonder if Dunkley moving on will be a good thing for Treloar and getting him to buy into the club a bit more. I agree with some observations that Treloar is a 'cultural ostrich'. Regardless of how the money works, he is our second highest-paid player at $900k a year, so we should expect more from him. I just haven't seen the passion and spirit in his game. I feel like he is a star on loan to us playing representative matches.
I want to see some 'ice in the veins' celebration like a Bailey Smith, or 'high fives all round' like a Josh Bruce or 'get the f*ck off him' like a Libba or 'wanna see me jump on your head again' like Naughton or some 'Get on my back boys, we're winning this one' like Bont.
Just don't get the vibe from Treloar.
If we could turn Dunkley into Hollands that would be amazingHopefully if not a KPD it's someone like Hollands
He’s much more talented than Hannan though, but yeah different players.No. Hannan's one-wood is to sacrifice his game for his teammates (he's still our best 'blocker' for Naughts)
Sexton is the polar opposite to that
He’s much quicker than Wallis.Sexton is Wallis 2.0. Can hit the scoreboard but he’s a bit of a low pressure/low speed player and medium forwards IMO doesn’t really suit our setup.
Pass.
Bruce embraced the club straight away. The pulling of the jumper in the 2020 EF against the Saints got me. He has an energy about him. Wasn't fit this year, but hope he has a belter of a pre-season because he's very much a spiritual leader.
Smart move.Big move by Collingwood delisting the brown brothers
