Hello Eagles fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

Keys you may like to sticky this post & move it to the start of the thread (so the sticky post doesn't rotate if a post is deleted before it), or copy it to your draft thread if you have one.

Started as a midfielder too as a junior before being injured and coming back as a small forward.

I wonder if he would have been drafted at all as a midfielder?

179cm so not tiny (same height as Ben Cousins).
I think Noah will turn into an accumulating mid in the next 2-3 years. Tracking the same way Lachie Neale did at an early age. Nothing fancy, but does basics extremely well and with more time spent in the gym and a better tank, will fit nicely with big bodied mid in Ginbey and match winning mids Hewett and Reid.

Still didn’t lay a tackle tho.

Prime position to move over and shepherd, should be natural instinct....

Noah is same size as Caleb Serong 179cm. Can see Long going the way of Neill and Serong and end up in the midfield. He is highly skilled and has great hands. Future midfield of Ginbey, Hewett, Reid, Long and Burgiel is a mouth watering prospect

I'd be extremely happy with this haul!!!
He must watch bigfooty pretty much what I posted on the other draft thread we have draft night 2.

Gut feel all of this but I think the Dees will be the one that can’t look past our F1. Straight swap F1 for 6. They need a few young mids coming through to revitalise there midfield. 2024 top 5 will give them that opportunity. Blues will save us from Moir at pick 28.

It’s been an interesting listen the glowing remarks of opposition staff members on Gettable of how high Harley is regarded.

Not necessarily what I’d pick but what my gut says West Coast will pick.

1 Reid
6 Curtin
23 Roberts
37 Hall
58 De La Rue

Rookie options of Torrent, Hine-Baston, O’Driscoll, Livingstone and Fonti.

We will know in less than 48hrs.

Is it worth a visit to the North board at the moment? Are they still crying about us not accepting pick 3 and a first rounder that will end up mid 20'ish?

I can make it easy for you... I don't think anybody has talked about Harley in a week in a trade basis. The new civil war is Duursma v Curtin (and the one guy pushing Watto).

I normally watch the Kayo/Fox broadcast on draft day. What is the general consensus of the best way to watch it? AFL app worth a run?
I watched it via the AFL website last year. It was fine but didn’t show the announcer Reiding out each pick. Just some text on the bottom of the screen saying “such club has selected this player with this pick” and discussions between the hosts.
