Hello Eagles fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

Yippie draft day! Like Christmas has come early. Never been this hyped for a draft.

Why the **** would crows want to give next year's first round? Do they not value the adleiade top 5 next year pool??

In one scenario put to foxfooty.com.au, North Melbourne could send its future first-round pick, as well as a couple of their selections in the teens – the Roos currently hold Picks 15, 17 and 18 – to the Giants, which would see Pick 7/Curtin land at Arden St. North has already been linked to a play for the Swans’ Pick 12 using some of those teens selections, but adding in their future first in an attempt to score another top-10 pick would be on another level.

Wouldn't that be a better offer for pick 7 than they even reportedly offered us for pick 1?

I'd be extremely happy with this haul!!!

Swap Murphy or Dawson for Roberts and that would be perfecto for me.

Not sure of the context of these tweets, but key defenders take longer to develop, so all things being equal, need to pick them up earlier than wingers if you're looking to replace positions in the near future.
But Barrass is also a significantly better player and will last much longer at AFL level.

Yep, and an appropriate use of their picks. They're not going to need more mids next year. They should be able to do a straight swap of F1 for 7 without losing their picks in the teens though.

“Coming off five wins across the past two seasons, West Coast have finally realised they need to rebuild their list with young talent.”

Yep, except they keep both McKercher/Duursma who they seem set on. Sounds more like speculation than an actual rumour though.

Final Predictions (well for now).

Pick 1 - We take Reid. Much wailing and gnashing of teeth from the usual places.
First ‘When he comes home…’ article online before the end of the night.

Dan Curtin - Goes to North. Too much noise around him being Clarkson’s choice - Rawlings will realise having Clarko on side might just save his job if they have another rough season.

As such, the rumoured trade etc doesn’t eventuate and we carry F1 into…F.

Lance Collard - Won’t be there for our pick tomorrow, goes back end of the ridiculous bloated ‘First Round’.

The funny thing is Sheed isn't even in a better position
Longys kick was perfect but Sheed on the left foot probably is in a better position to centre the ball.
Still, that was classic seagulling though.

Also, there's no in-between for the Long/Cripps party. We saw it a few times, so Sheed is outta line.
