I would think about Lewis Taylor for some midfield depth. Not getting as many games.
Him and Acres, prefer Acres.
Thats presuming we dont get either Kelly or Conligio
Plenty
If the Media / Geelong reckon Kelly is worth two first round picks as a starting point I wonder what Yeo , Shuey type players would be worth.
Yeh. It sure is difficult. Its a good problem to have.
How many rookies can we delist and then move some seniors onto the rookie list.
Watson will stay, if he doesnt Freo will snap him up and he will play round 1.
Three of Murtimer, M Alen, Ah chee or Nelson plus McInness and another 1-2 rookies will be turned over. Bines and or Riach but Cat B rookies arent a issue.
And potentially a fringe player involvrd in a trade or Brander.
Dare I say it but Masten could retire.
I'm pretty sure Goddard wrote the first piece and Tim Michell wrote the 2nd part. The Herald Sun is running a series of trade and list articles and today it's West Coast. I will temper it by saying it is Brendon Goddard who has very little track record in that space.

Josh Smith, Watson and Harry Edwards are on our rookie list and you would not delist any of them. The Cat B Rookies don't count.
That leaves McInnis and Brooksby as the only other Rookies on the list.
McInnis could be given a job at the club and stay on as captain of the Beagles. Brooksby is a keeper at this stage unless we pick up another ruck in the draft.
But not much wriggle space as far as opening places on the list.
Taylor is fast but can't kick worth s**t, it's why he can't get a game. Plays a similar game to Colyer at Freo in that regard.

So we need to replace Schofield despite him not being best 22? If that's our biggest concern, we're in good shape. I'd have thought readymade replacements for Kennedy and Hurn are far more urgent. Allen is thereabouts as a key forward and we have good depth in small/medium defenders (Sheppard, Cole, Duggan, Rotham, Nelson) but replacing those guys won't be easy.I wouldn’t prioritise KPD yet. Allen can role back, Rotham is a good third tall option and Edwards is promising.
I wouldn't underestimate Smith.Wouldn’t lose sleep over Smith.

Seemed like a fair assesment to me from Goddard
Twice in 32 games.I wouldn't underestimate Smith.
He is a very good player slowly getting back to his best after a serious injury.
Prior to that injury he was regularly getting 30+ possessions for Collingwood and came 7th in their B&F.
Agree with that - plus Mickey Ablett stated that he thought Brander was the best KPD in the 2017 draft and he looked pretty comfortable in the back end of 2018 in the WAFL. I would have wanted to play him down back ahead of Oscar.I wouldn’t prioritise KPD yet. Allen can role back, Rotham is a good third tall option and Edwards is promising.
Would look for an elite kick though, a potential a Hurn or Jetta will be needed.
Another big game from Zurhaar on the weekend. Has Yeo like qualities.
I remember people throwing his name up before the draft as a good prospect - out of East Freo wasn't he? Another one slipped out from under our noses. Would love to get him back, of course.
Ainsworth or Brayshaw?in place of ?
Ainsworth or Brayshaw?
I’m not criticising our drafting overall that year (have said enough on Kelly). But hopefully we’re keeping in contact with Zurhaar’s management.
If Gaff does want to go home, and North are still keen, Zurhaar could be involved.
Gaff just signed a long term contract, why on Earth would he be wanting to go to Norf after that whole saga?Ainsworth or Brayshaw?
