Whoops my bad! There are no points attached to compensation picks. So 57 will need to be traded before the draft, possibly to whoever has 58. They come down 1 in the draft position and we get some points.

Not totally convinced either, but going off the club they seem to be.I'm not convinced a bid will come for IQ before 18, I guess time will tell. Wouldn't it be funny if the Bears make a bid with 18.
Like this twice! Couldn't agree more.We got Dayne “top 10 in the Brownlow” Beams and people are complaining.. Jesus wept.
We literally have the best midfield of all time. Let that sink in.
Discarding pick 18 this year was always a gamble worth taking and IQ and Kelly plus a gun list of depth mean we can step out of the first round next year.
We got Sier and Maynard for 30s picks. Hine is better at nailing talent late in the draft (DeGoey excepted).
Not to mention all the posters critical of where Cal Twomey named our academy/FS boys in his phantom and several posters saying those picks were over inflated, yet now crying foul.
Sheeesh!
Yep, a year out is a long time in football. We are going to get an injection of A grade talent in the form of Elliot and Beams. So long as Bucks maintains and can instill this years game plan into the 22 next year, we are sooo much better placed for a tilt at the flag.Like this twice! Couldn't agree more.
If we have any luck with injuries and get Elliott back....look the F$#k Out!
Just once i'd love to leave a trade period feeling like we have underpaid for a player.
Clubs always seem to extract that little bit more out of us.. The Collingwood Tax.
You mean like 4 years ago when we traded Beams
I think, most likely, we get a lot more games out of Moore this year. He has the potential to be a great footballer too.Yep, a year out is a long time in football. With Beams in the side competition for midfield spots will be TIGHT next season.
Right now you would think:
Phillips, Sidebottom, Beams
Grundy, Adams, Treloar
With Pendles and Sier on the bench (Aish and Thomas rotating).
I like Mayne, and I think he had a ripper season, but with Beams coming in I think that they may need to find another position to player other than winger.
There is no way in this world Kelly is rated in the top 10. He’s having a lend.
I hope this random bloke is bluffing.
If they go Kelly top 10 then we pass on him. Can’t jeopardise our drafting if they are gonna just run interference. There is no way in this world Kelly is rated in the top 10. He’s having a lend.
Plus those people have no idea how the points system worksThere is no way in this world Kelly is rated in the top 10. He’s having a lend.
Trading 41 & 44 to North for 47, 48 and 49 would net us an extra 130 points
If we clear more list spots we'll be allocated later picks as well.
So I guess we won't be picking up Riley Grundy this year.
Yeah I think that will be the case. Crows most likely. If he is there for the rookie draft potentially? But I assume one of the SA clubs will get him as a ploy to eventually get Brodes back to SA
Gotta land one soon surely.I can't wait to win the race for Tomlinson as a FA when St Kilda have been chasing him for 4 years. Going to be great.
