We'll be able to trade down our last pick or 2 while collecting F1s. Like last year's pick 35 on steroids.Flexibility for next years trade period
Gives the ability us to be in the running for a big fish player target or ability to trade into better picks again or even the year after
Historically our club likes to have options for those two things because historically we haven't had historic draft hands. That’s always the risk but if you look at our list as well it’s extremely unlikely we take 8 players in the national draft
It would mean having no selections in the pre season draft or pre season supplemental period and historically our club likes to have options for those two things as well because we have found some success with them
Druggos will be looking to trade back in after Kako bid. Rosa is a noob who's already been fleeced by Melbourne, he can have pick 24 for an F1 and F2.They traded it to Essendon
On a dry day against a bottom teamHe’s a gun

Maybe, but they only need it for points.Suns are laughing hard getting pies F1st
Theoretically what do you think our pick 24 is worth in this current market? We'll be able to trade down our last pick or 2 while collecting F1s. Like last year's pick 35 on steroids.

I think we hold it until draft night. In live trading I think we can do a pick slide like last year and pick up a future first as well.Theoretically what do you think our pick 24 is worth in this current market?
Exactly. Let's get them in and get them working. Imagine picks sliding every year, you would never get anyone in. Use them all I say. Maybe kmacz Dow, Coulthard etx to the rookie list if we want themIf it’s supposed to be the best draft as in good players all the way through why would we gives picks away for next draft

Dogs only got spanner Kennedy and 17 for Sniff and Macrae. Bent over a little
I prefer to think that they did badly. No, poorly.Rose coloured glasses …. 1 x AA and 1 x B&F between them. Houston has 2 x AA in the last 2 years alone, is long-term contracted, and Rioli and Bolton both secured much better trade deals than him.
We got more for 26yo ex-rookie Baker than Dogs will get for 23yo ex pick-7 Bailey Smith.
We did amazingly well given the depth and quality of this draft - amazing.

You would definitely think soIf North trade pick 25 for Daniel and 44 for Parker they are definitely going to split pick 2.

That’s Mackie for ya. Going to be a scourge on this period every year ‘til 2050.If I was smith/ his manager I would be pretty filthy at the cats right now
They would of known about Smith coming over since last year but the cats have done nothing to try and secure enough capital to make the deal happen
Their only tactic is holding out and hoping the dogs fold and just stinks of arrogance
Also - re Taranto and Hopper - if they can stay on the park they will be pretty invaluable for us in the coming years. Will be very important in leading / protecting / setting an example for whatever young talent we draft in the next few years.
True that. Hopper playing Dad & winning our B&F next year would make me very happyWhilst Taranto and Hopper haven’t lived up to the expectations we all had when they arrived (Taranto kicking skills / hopper durability), they’re key pieces moving forward.
Without them, I don’t think we’d have let all of Graham, Baker, Shai and Rioli leave at once.
They’re both ultimate professionals though so will be great at setting standards around the club, driving improvement and of course will protect all the draftees coming in with their big bodies in the midfield.
It doesn't matter how good he is. He's a HBF. If the Wobblers got Barrass and/or Battle then they would have exactly what they needed. Perryman and Houston don't make them any taller in the backline. No against anyone he’s a gun
