When is Michaels timeslot

We were actually meant to be doing a trade show tonight, but Tiger71 is having a rough time currently with the rehab from the injury so we will park it for the moment.

We want Bolton to nominate a team
Both WA teams have good picks and future picks
If he nominates them it puts pressure on them to get the deal done
You do not want players nominating you and not being able to get there! its a shocking example for future players who are considering your club
Feel like this is a bit of a contradiction.

If a club has good picks, you DO NOT take the future picks - you take the known quantity now. Yes, you can get lucky with futures but we're strengthening both teams, you do not take futures for Bolton, Rioli or Baker. Also, next year's draft is hugely compromised with NGA players.

We're in a unique position where we can make multiple first round selections AND hold picks at the start of the 2nd round where clubs may overpay on draft night and give up their future picks.

Hypothetically if the eagles landed Bolton, Graham and Baker are they a chance at finals? The Reid and Bolton tandem is scary, they will still have Yeo, Mcgovern, Allen, Kelly, Ryan and Waterman.

Would they give up picks 3, 13 and 23 to secure Baker and Bolton?

Eagles 23
Hough, Edwards, Ginbey
Baker, Mcgovern, Duggan
Petrucelle, Yeo, Hunt
Bolton, Waterman, Ryan
Johnston, Allen, Brockman

Flynn, Kelly, Reid

Cole, Graham, Maric, Long, Hutchinson, Williams

Don't think so at all which is why I don't think Bolton is a.good fit for them

Hanners on trade radio literally been. reading BF saying we could end up with 5-6 picks inside top 20 …his source…a passionate tiger supporter in the media ( big footy)

Flom Morris….quoting Groupie…I’m hearing Yze might only last another year before the tigers secure a new coach ( Grigg)….and asks Hanners could that happen?

Hanners…says…nah…unless RFC stuffs up the draft, they will rebuild with a quality list of 6-7 kids…look at Ashcroft and multiply that effect

Hanners going to dissect Richmond next on trade radio (edit yeah after half an hour of ads of course)
Tried to listen but sounded like he was just getting all his thoughts from Jon Ralph :tearsofjoy:

Was he with Tom Morris? if so, whoever the other bloke was sounded like he just wanted to add in more hypotheticals of not having too many picks this year (even though the depth is stronger) and we should trade some out for next year lol

This week cant go quick enough IMO going to be like this all week until trade week actually starts.

its actually the opposite

I'm tryin' real hard to be the shepherd, Ringo. You don't make it easy.
Baker may be the better player, but he isn't contracted like Schulz was, therefore we can't expect to get the same or more for him. If we do the Matt Clarke is doing us a massive favour

but first - 127 minutes of adds then a word about Hannebury's career and some more adds.

When I think Trade Expert and Highly Regarded List Manager Judge, I think of Hannebury - so this will be brilliant.
The bit where he listed possible trades then in the same breath said he “hasn’t looked at players in this year’s draft yet” was a highlight.

or when he said freo have pick 7

They are just taking the p!ss

Its like bigfooty live streamed, completely unprofessional

That doesn’t diminish Bakers value only means we can’t go silly asking for pick 3 straight. Baker is a far superior player to Shultz. Pick 13 is about right.
