I mean Blight is out of contract currently so if he did have an offer to head home there wouldn’t be much we could do
Couldn’t ask all that much either so I guess it would be pick 59
I know Fox Sports have employed some simpletons, but those two have make the rest of them seem like they belong to Mensa.Jack Jovanovski and Will Faulkner from Fox Sports
I would want to see a vast improvement on his play and engagement with the team.Money talks. We’ve got a lot to spend.
Restructuring Shai’s contract to $6M over 5 years rather than $3.2M over 4 years he’s currently on would smooth out a lot of emotional wrinkles.
That said, I believe Freo will pony up and satisfy our list managers.
I would suggest you shop at Kia as opposed to Rolls Royce.Hey I’m from the wce board. For starters I believe wce shouldn’t give up a first rounder for baker I think it should be an early second rounder. That’s not why I’m here. I would like to know what west coast will have to give up to get blight. Package deal with baker, player swap or we give u a late pick eg 59. I believe he would be great at our club and he ain’t really playing at the tigers that much.
Don’t they become DFA ?Blight signed for 6 months, if he decides not to extend his contract ( or we don’t offer an extension) then he’s available to be selected in the draft. Obviously anyone can take him, but don’t think clubs will be lining up.
I think he’ll end up back in WA one way or another ( probably trade) , his partner plays netball for the west coast fever, and family ties.
Thought it was reported in media he was on >1m a year , pretty sure we’d subsidize that if they handed over 9/10I would want to see a vast improvement on his play and engagement with the team.
He signed a contract and was happy to accept the coin, how about you earn it first.
I would expect a grandfather type of offer, if the club was paying any part of the contract.Thought it was reported in media he was on >1m a year , pretty sure we’d subsidize that if they handed over 9/10

Agreed he is what we need and you guys get more than more picks in this draft.I mean Blight is out of contract currently so if he did have an offer to head home there wouldn’t be much we could do

Where did u see that eagles offered a dealApparently you already offered him a 4 year deal. Blight would be great for you as the wiseman at rfc don't like him so surely he would be good anywhere else!
blight is better and will
be than miller
I doubt you guys have any interest in Blight, he’s been under your nose for 3-4 years and you haven’t taken him. Yes he takes bulk intercept marks at state level but from what I have seen so far he doesn’t have much else in his kit bag. He can’t bend over, he panics when one out and looks a poor decision maker with ball in hand. I hope we can keep him around for another year on the rookie list to get an AFL pre season into him and see how he goes but I doubt clubs are lining up to sign him for multiple seasons.Agreed he is what we need and you guys get more than more picks in this draft.
I reckon we didn’t want to take the risk but know I reckon he has proven that he can be a use to a team with 7 spoils and 2 intercepts a game without a afl preseason.I doubt you guys have any interest in Blight, he’s been under your nose for 3-4 years and you haven’t taken him. word is this yearr is the one.How is the 2025 draft shaping up ?. Not against banking some picks extra for that year.

For him though, if he’s offered 2 years back home, where his partner is, and we are saying 1, on presumably very modest coin, it’s a pretty easy decision.I doubt you guys have any interest in Blight, he’s been under your nose for 3-4 years and you haven’t taken him. Agree and reckon we will get him cheap. Put him in defence as Grimes replacement and leave him there. His kicking is elite. He’d be a 1000% upgrade on dogshit MillerCan’t help but think jack luk could end up at punt rd , coll and crows have gut cold feet with size of his contract
D'Ambrosio was traded and he's in same boat as BlightDon’t they become DFA ?
Couldn’t find it what episode. I’ll take your word for it.AFL website

Not at playing CHB he wouldn't be. His kicking is overrated. Miller's is better.Agree and reckon we will get him cheap. Put him in defence as Grimes replacement and leave him there. His kicking is elite. He’d be a 1000% upgrade on dogshit Miller
As it stands we have 27 senior list signed for next year. Bolton & Rioli leaving will make it 25. We have Cumberland Dow & Smith as the only seniors unsigned.By my count we had 44 after the MSD + 2 cat B rookies.
We also had 6 on our rookie list + Blight & Gray. Meaning we had 2 senior lists spots free if any rookie list players are delisted. I’m not sure if anyone on the rookie list has been moved to the senior list.
