Either bundle into an earlier pick this year, or trade into next year. Three top 30 selections this year, as well as Tarrant and Mitchell would be an elite trade period

I’d trade into next year if we bring 5 players in. That’s why live trading is going to be so interesting this year

were certainly not doing anything next year if we cant solve our midfield clearances woes

that last 5 minutes of the 3rd in the grand final was scary, where Melbourne just took the ball out of the middle and scored with ease.

were not beating them if they are able to do that

Ill buy a Jumper with Mitchells number on it if we pick him up,

Makes me laugh that anyone who isn't a top 5 player in the comp is a dud on here. All those Hawks mentioned would easily slide right into our best 18 and would be great contributors and help us contend again.

Obviously that doesn't mean we should get them at any cost, that's a separate conversation, but people need to chill on saying these guys are no good lol

If you could do JOM or Mitchell for a second rounder plus some salary assistance you'd be absolutely stupid not to IMO.

I have no doubt they'd be asking for a first rounder for either right now but the closer we get to the trade deadline the more desperate they might get by the sounds of it.
Totally agree mate, Hawks would have to of almost lot the plot or have severe salary cap issues to ever do something like that.

Man I hope the trade gets done soon. The passive aggressive PM’s from certain North posters who have frequented our board have not stopped. Wild!

North's supporter base is what it looks like when the vocal minority gets a football team. It's anti-vaxxers in Blue and White stripes.

Its not about that, its about how players help us win our next premierships, when and where and how,

We would be better off getting Petracca and Oliver simply because Melbourne would not have them apart from their impact to us.

Its not about who is on our list its about how we win our next premiership(s)

I don't understand the hype around Melbourne. Very good team, yes, but not the AFL equivalent of the 1992 US Basketball Dream Team. They were impressive in the finals, but most seem to forget that the Cats were spent (too old) and the Dogs simply capitulated in the 3rd quarter (Melbourne only regained the lead at about the 25th min mark).

Happy to have Mitchell the bull at Richmond supporting the mids and force-feeding the ball out. He can always give it off to the more classier players in Dusty, Cotchy, Edwards, Prestia, Lambert or Graham.

Don't want O'Meara or Dunstan with their issues.

Would love to stick Breust in the forward 50 all year adding some smaller class to Jack and Lynchy!

Has anyone here heard of Trent Dumont - interesting fact that no one would know, he used to play AFL football for North Melbourne and was in fact their vice captain - I kid you not.

Waiting for the Volcano to suggest he'd be a good pickup for the Tiges to fix our inside mid need

Dunstan might be a bit hard to get

Mitchell would really help us contend next year.

A pick in the 20's, with the Hawks taking some $.

Hope no other club goes hard for him. He'd be great for the right price.

And he mustn't screw up getting Green in 2022.

I thought we were getting Taranto and Yeo

Pelican or not, cannot see how Mitchell stops Petracca and Oliver amongst others, let alone nullifying Gawn and Jackson
By getting the ball first last game hawks played demons- Mitchell had 39 positions 1goal1 and hawthorn drew with them with Melbourne having Petracca, Oliver and Gawn in the centre - the next best disposal player for hawthorn was Phillips with 25- so instead of saying how will he chase down Melbourne ask the question how will Melbourne get the ball off us with Mitchell, dusty and a Prestia in the centre

They are forcing him out the door, like they do to all veterans.

Getting Gunston and Wingard is going to put a spanner in the works of playing Balta forward🙄

Difference is I see Balta as an eventual power CHF for the Tigs. Gunston & Wingard play smaller. Wingard a lot, Gunston not so much. More worried about Gunston and Wingard getting in the way of Jack and Lynchy, that's why I'd love Bruest sniffing around our forward 50 instead.

Melbourne where not having a go,

In the last game of the season Melbourne where down by 30 plus versus Geelong and came back and won. In the finals Melbourne could have beat Geelong by well north of 100 points if they put their foot down all the way.'

Next year, Mitchell is a year older and Melbourne still in their prime

The thought of Taranto ever being a Tiger is just about as good as I could imagine. He is a GUN

Never happen but I just excused myself for a few minutes thinking about it.
