The thought of Taranto ever being a Tiger is just about as good as I could imagine. He is a GUN
Never happen but I just excused myself for a few minutes thinking about it.
By getting the ball first last game hawks played demons- Mitchell had 39 positions 1goal1 and hawthorn drew with them with Melbourne having Petracca, Oliver and Gawn in the centre - the next best disposal player for hawthorn was Phillips with 25- so instead of saying how will he chase down Melbourne ask the question how will Melbourne get the ball off us with Mitchell, dusty and a Prestia in the centre
I must have missed where Morro announced Taranto was joining us .Are we getting Yeo and Taranto
Would do Mitchell for 28 and 38.
Deal fell through. We should trade for snake baker to bring excitement to the trade period
Mitchell lol. Yeah mate bring in grand daddy Mitchell against Petracca and Oliver bulls who will take the spot of RCD or Ross about to hit a breakout year. Makes total sense while trading away our future for an inside mid who actually does no damage outside of extraction forward of centre compared to Petracca or Oliver/Bont. We work with what we have and feed youth into the system to have another crack next year. If we want to improve our chances we need to trade for a Curnow type forward who can float up to the wing assuming Tarrant gives us 1-2 years of good service while we develop another KPD.Mitchell is the bull we need in the guts. We can give him plenty of support with a secondary touch from our players with more finesse that can sweep it away. Remember Melbourne at times require Oliver to Petracca as a set play...and then one of them takes it out. One becomes the bull, one becomes the runaway carrier. We have Prestia, Edward, Graham, Dusty, Cotchy etc who would love takeaways from Mitchell.
Think he’s more famous for bashing a cabby.Has anyone here heard of Trent Dumont - interesting fact that no one would know, he used to play AFL football for North Melbourne and was in fact their vice captain - I kid you not.
Waiting for the Volcano to suggest he'd be a good pickup for the Tiges to fix our inside mid need
it doesn't get much lower than that for an afl player. They are forcing him out the door, like they do to all veterans.
oh that guy! Can't play, can't be a good bloke eitherThink he’s more famous for bashing a cabby.
Hawthorn happy to pay there salaries significantlyNot sure people understand that we just don't have the salary cap space for any of those Hawthorn players, sure the club would love to add one but we just don't have room. Maybe once Riewoldt or Cotchin retires.
They’ll pay a hefty % of their salary if they are offered a high enough draft pick. Not sure people understand that we just don't have the salary cap space for any of those Hawthorn players, sure the club would love to add one but we just don't have room. Maybe once Riewoldt or Cotchin retires.

Would have to be multiple players in our list, I also think a lot of our existing players already took cuts to get the likes of Lynch into the team.Just an idea...what if we renegotiated contracts? Perhaps, back-ending existing deals?
We do, we wouldn't have made a play for Cerra if we didn't.Not sure people understand that we just don't have the salary cap space for any of those Hawthorn players, sure the club would love to add one but we just don't have room. Maybe once Riewoldt or Cotchin retires.

Did we really make a play though? Sure we enquired but I believe the asking price was too much for us.We do, we wouldn't have made a play for Cerra if we didn't.

How much though? It hasn't been stated. I think it's a pipe dreamHawthorn happy to pay there salaries significantly
Ross pretends to be a footballer. He'll be superseded next year...by who?...anybody. Ross is lost in Senior Football. He'll be replaced by the next young guy that steps up. The Ross Project will be over soon. Not a first team 22 pick.
RCD has 2 years tops to cement a week-in week-out permanent spot, otherwise he's gone too.
We're in a Premiership window still mate. Not a rebuild. A top up phase to try to snatch another flag.
Otherwise buddy....."grand daddy Tarrant' would not have been brought into the Club this month!!!
I don't think it's polite to laugh at people before you've looked in the mirror and seen yourself mouthing ridiculous stuff.
