Hill has avg 0.8 goals not 1.8 . He is behind George at same age , all bs aside stick the facts my friend View attachment 1256664
No however I don’t think we have our foot on the till of a flag , we should be able to contend and who knows from there. I’d much prefer that we invest heavily , 8-10 kids next 2 drafts , if half become good ens then with retirements looming they’ll be ready to go with a couple a seasons under the belt . Back to hawthorn I don’t reckon they thought they were shot when they landed those guys , my haw mates celebrated with jaegar bombs that nightBut the Hawks were finished. Do you think we're finished?

Absolutely bang on, resting mids who can kick goals is the futureBobby Hill is a player the comp is mobving away from. The medium sized forward is the future. Small forwards disapeare in games way to easliy now and its not just us.

It would be good to see Sydney settle in a spot he plays well for a season or two, despite the temptation to move him up onto the middle and forward. Keep him where he is in the back rotations so he can do his apprenticeship like Baker. Use him every now and then as a change up or as an impact players or give him a job on an oppo jet to keep him fresh and we will have a serious gun on our hands for years to come.Really probably not the right place to discuss it but I really hope we leave Stack in the back half. I know he can switch forward but he plays so much more confidently and assuredly off half back.

Where are u getting your Bobby hill stats from played 30 games for 25 Career GLS with 9 touches a game.3rd year in the system as a 21yo,
Hill 2021, in a lower finals team: 9 disposals, 1.8 goals + goal assists, 2.8 tackles, 1.4 clangers
Castagna 2017, in a Premiership team: 11 disposals, 1.4 goals + goal assists, 3 tackles, 1.9 clangers
You reckon Hill is behind Castagna at the same stage?
Bearing in mind Castagna is a triple premiership small forward and he was playing forward in the best team in the competition that season. How is Hill tracking worse?
In a perfect world he becomes the mid at AFL level that he was at junior levelIt would be good to see Sydney settle in a spot he plays well for a season or two, despite the temptation to move him up onto the middle and forward. Aartsdifferent players completely. Hill small forward with speed and runs wide. stack and bolts have differnt dimensions to thier game. why on earth would you keep castanga ahead of hill is the questions.
And we have Stack.Did you not read my other reply to you? Hill is better than both Castagna and Aarts. Pressure on spots was a key pillar to our success.
Jeez mate he's done everything asked of him this season and arguably more. He needs to be settled in a position imo and used forward only for impact.Stack has huge potential don't get me wrong, but the way most on here are talking, it's like he is the next coming of Judd.
He kicked two goals in our last game after rotating forward and people have blown their loads over it.
As I've previously pointed out, Stack is one off-field mishap away from being delisted.
We need to be realistic with what to expect from him. I'd much rather trade for Hill instead of potentially being left short on options because Stack gets caught doing something stupid.
It's the elephant in the room but it needs to be addressed. Short memories in here.
Disagree Pickett was average in the finals series but he played his role in forward pressure. Like i said above the comp is moving away from this. key word 'moving'So we win 3 of the last 5 flags with at least 2 out and out specialist small forwards, Dees just smashed the finals with Spargo Neal-Bullen, and Pickett all specialist small forwards...
If thats the case lets put Dusty out to pasture.Stack has huge potential don't get me wrong, but the way most on here are talking, it's like he is the next coming of Judd.

Plenty of Hill types if & when needed.(We already one in our own backyard in MRJ)Hill looks like a great groundball player, knows where the goals are, and seems to be more stable than Stacky. More of a Michael Walters style player. They'll probably occupy different parts of the ground so it's not like we can't have both.
Ronny should go and tell Dal too Lernner more about the Dynasty side before us when it comes too list management when the end is nigh.might have already been posted but what a stupid ******* take this is.
Tigers have ‘no choice’ but to push for a flag NOW... even if it means ‘10 years’ of pain later

Just being realistic. I never said I didn't want to give him a chance, I just don't us ignoring a player like Hill just because we have Stack, who is one off field incident away from being out the door.Jeez mate he's done everything asked of him this season and arguably more. The club are obviously happy with him, he's ticked all the boxes and gets a new contract but everyone knows he's a work in progress. It's the carrot not the stick. He IS super talented so why wouldn't you give him every chance. Kid needs support and structure not suspicion and scorn. Sometimes I reckon people take more delight out of someone failing, not succeeding.
Na not really, but he trumps castagna and aarts in skills by the length of the Flemington straightis Booby Hill even that good ? barely heard sh*t about him after the first few games hype
George was 5 straight kicks away from winning the Norm in 19.3rd year in the system as a 21yo,
Hill 2021, in a lower finals team: 9 disposals, 1.8 goals + goal assists, 2.8 tackles, 1.4 clangers

Only one of them might take mark of the year and kick goal of the year in the same game. Pretty easy decision for me.And we have Stack.
Who's better Stack or Hill?
And only 12yrs away from breaking our 37 mark.Yeah they did but you know what ................................. KARMA IS A b*tch
Carlton get 3 Spoons
Tigers get 3 Premierships
