GWS board reckon Nick Haynes could be on the move, possible salary dump due to back ended contract.

He is a gun when up and about. Salary the obvious issue, but he would be fantastic in our backline.

North should be all over him though.

Brilliant idea, I understand the risks of dropping down the ladder but I'd back our boys in to be playing finals next year. If GWS are keen on the idea, we should do it.

If they trade out Hill, Hopper, Taranto and Bruhn they'll have too many picks for one year. We need to get in first.

Too old for us. Dropped off a fair bit too.

No room in our backline.

I think if we're going to trade for Taranto we try use all future picks. Load up on another draft this year with another 3 inside 30. That way they can get a year of development in them before Cotchin, Tarrant and Riewoldt all retire. Target a free agent next year to make up for lack of picks and with some money free'd up with the retirements.

8 picks inside 30 in 2 years. That's a full rebuild on the run.
Don't mind.Maybe get Bruhn in the deal as well.

A decent management team would be advising Tim to be looking at how Tigers have been handling contracts in the last 5-6 years compared the debacle at Collingwood.

The Grundy farce should be serving a warning to all potential recruits (eg; Mcstay) that Collingwood do not stay true to their word.

I heavily doubt Tim Taranto would want to be going into his own off season holiday period (going overseas) with the anxiety and stress that he would have wait for Collingwood to sort out other extremely difficult situations before he knows whether he can play there.

I think he will make the easy choice and that would surely be tigers.
exactly, take the 5 year guaranteed contract @ RFC as compared to the possibility of not being wanted after 3 or 4 @ the 2 faces
theyll offer 1 more year than us to try n get him over the line for sure

Poor man's Nick Vlastuin. Let George have 21 disposals and six shots at goal in a grand final. One of the most overrated players in the game.

I wonder who it was...

Oh I don’t know…which rival club is desperate for a tall forward? I’m hoping your comment was sarcastic, because only one club makes the most sense to me…hint…they also start with C.

Is TT making a call on where he wants to end up today? I thought I read that somewhere.
Tom Brown said that on Monday or Tuesday on the ch7 News. So highly unlikely

I did read or hear somewhere that he will wait til the team he’s nominating is out of the finals

Willie Rioli deal not done at west coast.

Would have to only think he’d be contemplating joining MRJ and Daniel.

Would be handy.

I reckon we have that 3rd tall back role covered.
Assuming we land Taranto I wonder if we’ll chase a ready to go kpf which is more a list priority. Or take the long term option snd draft one

We probably find out shortly if he wants to leave GWS. The team he wants to go to will be officially revealed once their season is over.
It will get leaked in the media first, always is.

This, same as Amon... Says he's leaving but doesn't nominate initially
