He's a wildcard. Be a huge bonus if he could come on after a big pre season. Looks more like a Gunston type to me though rather than a Jack replacement.
3rd tall at best, hopefully he becomes a good one.

Hard too replace Jack.So we have too accept what's available.
Bauer with a pre season may turn out ok.
Riccardi too me seems to have reached his ceiling which doesn't look good

If we really did have a crack at Charlie curnow would that indicate that jack is hanging up the boots?
nah jack playing on/retiring is contingent on the trade market imo. If we got say a curnow or fogarty then he is likely to have retired, but if we can't do anything then he will play on and provide time for bauer or a new draftee to develop and see if they have what it takes.

TBH he just needs to retire anyway...

We forget we said no one would replace Richo... that was while Jack was there in the magoos...
And it wasn't until we moved Richo to the wing, that JR blossomed with more game time and being the focal point...

Same goes now, we think we are empty (and we may be) but we won't know until Jack goes and we give his repalcement 100% crack at it!

I know it’s Tom Browne…so pinch of salt and all…however if he’s right…why have they cooled?
Probably want to keep de Gooey now so can't fit him in.

Or maybe he was always coming to Richmond and the media just found out.

too many spinning plates most likely, hill + mcstay coming in, re-signing JDG, turfing out grundy and probably didn't anticipate so much interest in Henry. Plus still working with a tightish cap, and also probably informed them tigers are his preference

I hope you’re right, however the way that’s worded, it suggests there’s something there that Collingwood isn’t keen on…what is it? That’s all I was curious about. :D

Possibly and it makes sense, that’s a lot of people Collingwood are interested in…it’s a lot of eggs in a lot of baskets.

Apparently they’ve offered a 4 year contract to Frampton from Adelaide. (Who?) yeah I googled him too, they want him as a key defender.

Who and why? Is Jeremy Howe getting ready to retire?

This is Collingwood trying to soften the blow of missing out on TT for their feral fans. Collingwood were probably hoping to get him to the club on minimal contract, given all their salary cap issues, but realised Richmond are offering more...

...more stability, more chance of success, more support, more leadership, more of a proven culture - MORE!

Can't see us missing out on him from here
