Don’t give a bad look to the club is just standard stuff expected of all players. Like any club wouldn’t have the same clause
Not saying he shouldn’t go Saints or whoever gives him the best offer. But whether he stays or leaves he’s still a dickhead either way
Heard a bit of a rumour about a potential 3 way deal. Not sure if it's of any interest here because it doesn't involve Richmond but interesting all the same.
Freo trying to get Peter Wright across from Essendon.
They've proposed a 3 way deal with Hawthorn as the 3rd party. They have proposed sending Caleb Serong across to Essendon for Peter Wright but to sweeten the deal they've suggested sending their first pick to Hawthorn who would then send Caleb's brother Jai across to Essendon. That way Freo get their man and the Serong brothers hook up together at Essendon and the Hawks get a good early pick.
Essendon, however, have rejected the deal.
Apparently they said, "Two Serongs don't make a Wright."
I'll show myself out...............

We were linked previously when he was drafted - so under HS fact checking that deal is now done and dusted and happening because thats how they "research" ....

He isn't told to sign a standard contract. He is being told to sign one that's more restrictive.
Fair enough if he wants to tell them to FO.
Lucky it's not last week and he doesn't play for hawthorn.
Clearly he is a dickhead but he is good at football. Good risk from the saints imho. Best player for them? If he doesn't go off the rails

Weird hill to die on thinking he’s above signing a contract with some clauses about his off field stuff. How is trying to stop him bashing or sexually assaulting someone a bad thing.
Would be no issue with the clauses if he didn’t plan on doing it. No doubt a desperate club will offer him a contract with no clauses and he’ll run to them. High chance they’ll regret it though.

Isn't it the managers job to find his client a list spot if the current club doesn't want to retain him? Im guessing our list management will leave a couple guys in limbo until we get the GWS trade finalised as their list spots are dependant on the picks we have left
