If Stacky's manager is doing his job he would be shopping Stacky around to other clubs.

Stacky has family connections at Port, may be a good fit. Looks like they prefer Junior Rioli though.

After many years I still don't really get this; Doesn't the AFL sign off every year on every clubs books and contracts?
Can anyone enlighten me how this happens?
If it was a Vic club would have the book thrown at em, draft sanctions , new franchise clubs GC and GWS flipping millions over due to gross ineptitude , jack bowes 600k lol fiorrini 500 lol ,,oh you silly sausage we ll intro a new rule so you can salary dump

He might get a rookie spot if he’s lucky , im not as bullish as others on his capability

Reckon it’s his dad? Unlikely.. Sounds like the bloke has no clue

No way Richmond have left Stack in the dark, and if he wants a trade he 100% would’ve told his manager

Richmond prob making him sweat till the last second on purpose

Don't be shocked if Stack doesn't get picked up by anyone if we don't offer him a contract.
He is grossly overrated on here.
He's a better talent than Stengle. If he can sort out whatever is holding him back, he's potentially a 10 year star for another club.

GWS playing hard ball as you would expect on the trade for Taranto and Hopper. We should hold firm with keeping pick 19 at least.

The player's management will get involved to help progress the trade and expect middle ground to be reached and the deal to be done.

Yeah, in what universe do you go to your club and say 'I want to be traded, find me a trade somewhere else' it's literally what you pay your manager to do.

Why would a club trade for him? If we weren't going to sign him then they will just pick him as a delisted free agent. Pretty much picks where he wants to go if hes got interest yeah?

Id say it all bullshit. We may have decided to delist him but like someone said If that's the case its on his manager to find him a new home not us.

If the pies lose De Goey and Grundy to bring in Mcstay, Hill, Frampton and Mitchell 😂 oh and I nearly forgot they’re losing Ollie Henry on top of that

Heard a bit of a rumour about a potential 3 way deal. Not sure if it's of any interest here because it doesn't involve Richmond but interesting all the same.
Freo trying to get Peter Wright across from Essendon.
They've proposed a 3 way deal with Hawthorn as the 3rd party. They have proposed sending Caleb Serong across to Essendon for Peter Wright but to sweeten the deal they've suggested sending their first pick to Hawthorn who would then send Caleb's brother Jai across to Essendon. That way Freo get their man and the Serong brothers hook up together at Essendon and the Hawks get a good early pick.
Essendon, however, have rejected the deal.
Apparently they said, "Two Serongs don't make a Wright."

They're actually not.

Jason McCartney, who would normally be playing hard ball, suggested today that the deal would inevitably get done.

If he'd be playing hard ball, he'd have used phrases such as "they are required players", and "they're contracted and won't be going anywhere", like he generally does.

Sorry after this season i just think that is a homer call.

In his first year at Geelong he kicked over 50 goals, earned an AA spot, won a Premiership and was the leading goal kicker in it.

Lets no embarrass ourselves here peeps

I think hardball can be played more than 1 way.

I think the "Hardball" stance comes down to the price more than the talk. I think the reason he is verbally not doing that approach is because Richmond have clearly stated they will be reimbursed sufficiently & we are realistic to what they want and not doing a Dorodo
