We were keen in his draft year just quietly 🤫
he can come

and he gets bashed up by big sexy on his first day as initiation

I think the bow and arrow could be replaced with an aeroplane

Not a fan of losing Graham. We effectively lose Lambert as a full time mid, Edwards as a part time pinch hitter mid, and we need to build midfield depth with Cotchin retiring after season 2023. By trading in Taranto and Hopper, we are effectively replacing Lambert immediately, allowing more opportunity to rest Prestia and Cotchin AND adding Hopper to increase depth. Graham is a role player in the same way as Lambert was. We don't know if Hopper or Toranto will be good role players in our system - we know they are VERY good players, but it does not guarantee they will thrive immediately.

We will be able to cover and manage our mids deep into the season and have a balanced midfield that will be VERY good at winning clearances and contested footy. I would hate to lose Graham.

It’s apparently a pretty average draft this year. So even if you were to get a pick in or around the 20s it’s going to be hit and miss.
Stick with what you’ve got a very solid and reliable team orientated player, who plays a role that nobody else in our team can (to that level). Not to mention our Premiership window is wide open

We're not losing Graham - if a club really wants him they'll have to make an offer to good to refuse which benefits us.

He's the ultimate club man and won't play funny buggers.
Buy one get one free. Aarts and Graham package. Surely Aarts or George alone is to good to pass up lol.

Just maybe could this be the trade Richmond are looking at to Get Fogarty from Adelaide? Straight Swap?
Im sure Richmond would be trying to trade for a Forward.
The old axiom goes, you don't recruit a player based off one good year and you don't trade a player based off one average one. Or something like that...

Listened to 5 minutes and heard the following:

1. Cerra doesn't want to go to Carlton
2. GWS won't let Taranto go; and
3. Hopper could get $850k elsewhere.

All bollocks. Should I listen for anymore?

He did mention we were shaking the GWS tree for Hopper but even a broken clock is right twice a day :)

If this graham thing is true and Port are really desperately wanting him then i dont want draft picks
Mitch Georgiadis or Miles Bergman

Bergman will be a good player and will fit our game style perfectly

to improve the list, if we move on a mid who has just slid down the pecking order (and even with substantial opp hasn't locked down a starting mid gig) and brought in a KPF which we are lacking (I'd take either Georgiadis or Marshall)... then the overall net outcome for our list is a positive one, and one I would easily do

Is only 20, and will be behind Draper (23) for a while. Nank on the other hand is 28 but still will be sidelined quite a bit since he doesn't look like a forward/ruck type
Dodo will want two first rounders
