So the natural assumption is that we offered a higher pick (around 50) for Houli & Essendon being naturally an arrogant bunch kept saying 'no deal' resulting in the announcement this morning that he has 'quit' the club.

most of DT's 'predictions' don't seem to be anything that any of us couldn't figure out with a few hours across BF, the herald sun and the age.

then throw in a speculative one here and there like "sherman is a done deal" and when it doesn't eventuate of course "it was on the table, but a deal couldn't get done".

i can't wait for this trade period to be over.

Im glad Dan Richardson came out and said that houli is coming no matter what, for 2nd time i was bagged, 1stly when hird was appointed and yesterday when he was having lunch with hird. i stil said he was coming all the media said he wasnt. Heads of agreement?


Justin sherman was a done deal in our eyes printed no where before i posted it, then the actual scenario that i posted was printed in the Autralian a week later, i cant help it if it turns around.

I stated we were into Josh hill as well printed no where before i posted it then what comes out yesterday we were into him.

Any way i will PM any one who wants this information from me as i will not be posting anymore.

My Information comes almost directly from a Player Manager i will not disclose my link to the manager as that will get that person and myself into trouble.

Thanks for reading but i cant stand cowards that bag others with out proving that what is written is wrong they just post crap themselves without substance.

I will just stick the drafting board where i know the young talent best as thats what i love doing is helping search for young talent.

Let me say that most of us appreciate you passing on what you're hearing, what we don't appreciate is posts like this one where you come in and big note yourself, with these, 'See I was right' posts. All that does is make you look like a right royal tosser. Probably better off just posting what you hear and leaving it at that. By Monday night, posters will be able to make their own minds up as to how accurate your info was or wasn't. If people want to carry on let them, its an internet forum you can't stop people questioning or doubting what you're saying.

Would be happy to upgrade there last pick to a lower pick that we get for Thursfield and snag Houli.

Then get Grigg via the PSD.

I would be pretty impressed with Hartley and Cameron if they can get this done. It would mean they have got us 3 top 30 picks, Grigg a former top 20 who has shown glimpses and also Houli a good player who was not given a go even when he was BOG.

Take Heppell or Caddy at pick 6 & Luke Mitchell at the Bock pick.

Then Dion Prestia at pick 29.

Even TW just speculated that a HoA was most likely signed by Houli and RFC, which DT had said long ago.

Also, I almost died... dagger through the heart stuff... about 5 mins ago when TW used the term "locked and loaded". OMFG you prick!!

For all we know, most of what DT has said may have been on the money, since he always prefaced most of his posts saying a lot of what he was reporting was just speculation, or in discussion. Whether it was or wasn't, we may never know. So much would be discussed between players managers and clubs at this time of year, but only a small percentage of it comes to fruition.
