Wins all round then. Davies is really one of the big disappointments for me this year. We've already known Koch and Ken are shit for years. Richo took about 5 minutes in the big seat to show he's as spineless and stupid as KT became. There was always the hope from some of his comments Davies didn't like the situation, but wasn't in the position to do anything about it. This year though he's joined in the gaslighting of fans and BJ's for Ken the rest of our off-field partakes in. Should be out the door along with the rest when we get a new coach.
Would be a lot of people trying to protect themselves against the real possibility (dare we dream) of Sack Hinkley. I assume quite a few of them are tied to him and will be on the way out if he goes.

Chris Davies has done a good job and should remain after Ken is gone.
Chris says some dumb things publicly but agree his list management side has been very strong.

Ken has gotten pretty much everything he’s asked for in both players in and out.

I’d keep Davies and see how he goes with a new team.

No disrespect to you Enviable Tradition but Davies called out Duursma, Bergman and Mead specifically. Duursma started the season really well, got injured in the Brisbane game then has been royally ducked around since.
Everytime he gets a knock this season, Xavier Duursma looks like he thinks his career is over and he can no longer continue playing. He played pretty well in the game at Loxton, and fell way back down the following week.

Bergman was so ill he spent time in hospital, looks to have lost a heap of weight, only now has strung 2 or 3 games in the sanfl
Neither of which have been anywhere near what you would expect of a player pushing to be in the AFL side. Bergman getting selected for the AFL side on the back of his results post-sickness would be the definition of a gold pass.

and Mead, got a life threatening injury last year let alone career threatening, learning and making his way.
Not sure how an injury last year has any bearing on how we should judge Mead's SANFL results this season after he got dropped from the AFL side.

Yes, they are to blame for our shite performances this year.
When did he say those players were at fault for the performances?

Everyone in here blows up about how good Bergman was in the previous season after Davies said he was a long way from being selected for the AFL side now. Davies was specifically talking about Mead, Bergman and Duursma's current form. Not that they haven't previously showed they were good enough to play at the AFL level.

Respectfully, I disagree with each one of your points.

North Melbourne’s prized Pick 1 Jason Horne-Francis has turned heads after an unusual social media act, liking a mock trade post by 7AFL that involved the young star getting traded to Port Adelaide.

I think he would thrive back in his home environment. It’s not like where overly blessed with players that possess JHF tenacious & competitive spirit. He reminds me of Wilbour Wilson the way he goes about it. You build your entire squad around players like that, they’re a rare breed.

What price would you pay?

Good question. I’ve honestly reached a point in my supporting life where I’d be more then happy for central command to call a ‘Broken Arrow’. The club has got a glaring leadership vacuum, which it has carried for years. Our brand of footy, is bland, soul less, & predictable. The most successful Port teams were loaded with great characters, not necessarily the most skilful. I’d take 100 George Fiachi’s, Tim Ginivers, Michael Wilson’s etc over most of the drab I see today. Spirit is so critical in this game, but very difficult to harness if you haven’t got the right people.
JHF has that spirit, so I’d be happy to give up a lot to bring him in.
