Clearly with the rise of Burgoyne and Jones still a potential long term HBF, there is surplus depth at half back. The funny part about this is, I would've thought the large majority of Port fans have seen Bonners improvement and understand how valuable he is to us. Yet DBJ who is a scrubber, poor disposal, poor defending, and should be on the outer, yet still seems to be largely ignored! His huge contract was probably the nail in the coffin, but geez if we could unload DBJ for something then thatd be an amazing win. Bonner should be retained before him.

So perennial strugglers Gold Coast are salary dumping a top 10 draft pick to the reigning premiers, who apparently have plenty of salary cap. If that doesn't highlight the stink emanating from the AFL, I don't know what does.

It wouldn’t be fair for the Geelong fans to struggle. They just couldn’t cope with having to manage their list, drafts and trades like everyone else. They just don’t have the experience for it. Best for the AFL to top them up, couldn’t have them not be in contention for once in the past 58 years or whatever it is.

There is so much really suss about Geelong. Their player fitness and size, their bottomless salary cap space and players like Danger going for apparently unders ( maybe some brown paper bags?)
I would love them to be exposed
