Honestly I’d be reluctant to sell the farm for JHF at the moment.

Sounds like he has some real attitude issues he needs to address to be an A grade AFL player. Seems it may have all gone to his head a bit and better pull it together.
Straight swap for Bergman if he insists on going back home.
North may end up the winner in the deal anyway

Would really like to see him play to his potential and pay what he is worth rather than give up an outstanding pick 4 on what he might do if he pulled his head in. Pick 4 is an absolute gun in this draft and that alone should get it done if Francis wants out.

JHF was playing hard, disciplined football at the Panthers last year. I have no inside knowledge but it seems like many of these behavioural issues have come up as a result of being away from home at the worst club in the league under the worst administration in the league.

His style is extremely combative and he was never going to be able to coast playing uncontested pretty football like some other draftees have. But the talent is undeniable.

Seems like a good candidate for the SPP treatment and a stay at Chateau de Boak.

He's playing at a garbage bin of a club. Too early to judge

JHFs issue isn’t that he’s at north. It’s that he’s not in SA, and it was a risk known by clubs ahead of time. He was described by some Sturt people as the biggest go home risk they had seen

Didn't Adelaide offer Norf 3 first rounders or something to get a hold of pick 1? Just another dumb decision by Norf. If they get Clarkson I hope it blows up in their faces. They need to go to Tasmania

SPP didn't turn his career around from staying with Boak. He was still getting in trouble and at risk of being traded. He's had his breakout year since having a kid.

I was talking to someone who went to school with JHF and apparently has a very high opinion of himself. Nothing totally wrong with that as I'm sure a lot of young guys do, but failing to do the simple things is a red flag. It doesn't matter how much you don't like the club you're at.

If Jhf was a Victorian at port having this season the media would be saying it’s cruel for port to hold onto him and arguing how his value has dropped.

We won’t get him this off-season, it’s more likely once he’s out of contract, but there’s no way I want port, who gets the rough end of the stick from clubs whenever those clubs have the upper hand to pay overs for jhf based on pre-draft hype when the same wouldn’t apply if the shoe was on the other foot.

What about a few casual drinks on the town with Ladhams? Oh wait.

Anyone able to read this?
Doesn't say much;
We've got heaps of cap space, even before Amon goes.
Only 1 player in the top 50 paid, this doesn't say who as this names players 100-51 but it presumably Wines.
2nd highest paid player Lycett (600-700), Dixon comes in at 100 (550-650).
Suggests we will go for Dunkley and ask the question on Grundy.
Could save our money for next year and go for Wanganeen-Milera or Kossie Pickett.
Suggest surely we will ask the questions in relation to JHF

Surprised Boak isn't paid 600k+ despite his age.

We have officially become North Melbourne.

Loads of cap space and can't attract anyone to use it.

Go get Jack Payne from Brisbane.
Young monster KPD who is on the fringes due to Adams and Andrews.
Fills a big gap, shouldn’t cost the world!
I agree.

He is contracted until 2024 but he we should be in his ear that he will get regular game time at Port.

To which he'll respond "I've seen how your club treats young talls, I don't believe you, sack Hinkley or you can **** off".

Front load Connor, Zak, Xavier (possible value contract) and Todd. I am aware Rozee and Butters already had extensions this year.

I see no value in chasing someone to use up cap space that we are going to need to give up significant draft capital for. Back to the draft, finish the rebuild that was commenced with drafting Rozee, Butters and Duursma. I'm at the point where I'd be good with giving up Wines.

Needs:
Mid with pace and excellent foot skills.
KPD with actual height and frame to build on.
Small forward with main focus being goaling from crumbs.
Rucks, Hayes probably gone, Lycett finished. Teakle lol.
Keep drafting tall forwards.
