I don't like them bending over for the Saudis, but that's very much a "both sides" problem. They backed Hillary in 2016 by donating 20M to her foundation during an election.

Trump maintained that he would end forever wars while boosting the military as a deterrent. He succeeded in stomping ISIS (more like "waswas", amirite!?) largely by simply ceasing their indirect funding (that ole chestnut), and the near weekly terror attacks in Europe also stopped as a result. Oh, then he smoked their leader, killing any remaining moral.

He obviously doesn't get full credit for that operation, but at least he gave the green light to end them instead of deliberately keeping them around so that he could play war games with the Ruskies above Syria. See: his predecessor.

How can a massive increase under his watch be a "both sides" problem?

This anti-war furphy in ridiculous, considering he brought the US to the brink of war with Iran, allowed hundreds (if not thousands) of people to be slaughtered after withdrawing troops from Syria that were protecting displaced civilians, and increased arms sales to despots who are starving millions of civilians as we speak.

How he can get credit for defeating ISIS despite increasing support for Israel who were supporting ISIS ground troops fighting Hezbollah is a ridiculous assertion. Trump has supported the most vehemently anti-Shia foreign policy the US has ever seen.
