Don Jr will try but he’s no Don Sr. I don’t understand the appeal at all, but Americans were sucked into Trump’s personal celebrity and energy. Others will try and fail. But the battle for the soul of the Republican Party begins now.

They sided with Trump because they are a minority party obsessed with holding the levers of government. And they’ve been bloody successful at it. They’ll latch on to whatever they think will give them power again.
