It has far less implications for us sure, but there's other people in the world.

Might have different medium-term outcomes. For example, in Gaza, the rest of the world can stop pretending the US is on the side of peace and either admit they're ok with genocide or do something about it. When Trump does very Anti-Palestinian actions, it'll make it clear to the world who will have to stop hiding behind Biden's state Department saying they're encouraging Israel to do less genocidin.

That issue probably cost the Dems Wisconsin.

Going back to your original contention regarding "Republicans who are very patriotic by nature and revere the constitution". If thats true and those people had any principles at all, Trump's comments about terminating it should be a huge turn off.

Reality is they pretend to revere the constitution, but couldn't actually give 2 shits about it in the face of anything their god emperor does and the idea that these people could be reached by a more centrist Democrat party is ridiculous.

Not reading through the whole thread but you'd think the economy would have been the winner for Trump. When people are struggling they are going to vote the party in power out regardless of the cause. The same will happen here in our election next year.
