RIP Jim. Much sympathy to his wife and two young children.

Was listening to a tribute on the radio this morning where he said that the hardest thing was the thought of leaving his kids. I hope they get through this OK - if they grow up to be half the people their old man was the world will be richer for it.

RIP Jim Stynes

My condolences to your family.

You were a truly warm and caring human being instead of one of the current generation of people who are more interested in what they can get for themselves. You gave fully of yourself even when you were dying.

The world is a much smaller place now with your passing.

VALE

Gone at 45. So young. Has achieved so much you'd think he was much older. When it can be taken away so easily, it makes you evaluate your own life.

RIP Jim Stynes, and condolences to his family and close friends.

RIP Jim Stynes. Gone but not forgotten.

Jim Stynes has been the epitome of courage and selflessness not just in his playing days, but even more so in the recent on-going battle that could not be won, which would have been lost much earlier by the average man.

A man to be respected and admired.

The struggle is now over.

R.I.P. Jim.

R.I.P. to Jimmy, what a strong fighter and condolences to his loved ones.
I might need to change my tip for round 1, i think Melbourne might be fired up.

They say only the good die young. Never truer than when applied to Jim Stynes. Displayed inspiring courage during his illness and I cannot believe there is a single person on earth that did'nt like him.

Jim Stynes, RIP.

Condolences to Jim's family and the Melbourne Football Club.

Thankfully the family of Margaret Whitlam have declined the offer for a state funeral which I think would detract from Jim's funeral.
