We were shocking, it's just Melbourne were even worse.

Perform like that next week and we'll lose two years in a row to the Gold Coast.

At least Melbourne had a go in the last 3qtrs. Very disappointed with that win. Scoring shots alone indicates we should have won by 60+

Pros:
• Able to rebound from a crazy week
• Still got some amount of depth
• Seeing Deledio kick good goals
• Grigg's uncontested ball
• Luke McGuane proving himself
• Nahas
• Conca's clearance work
• Forward 50 entries
• Leaders, except Newman as he wasn't involved as much

Cons:
• Conversion
• Umpires (every week), although they did give us an extra 3 50m penalties
• Tom Derickx didn't exactly do much, didn't even take a mark
• Sloppy football

We need to be realistic, we are missing 2 of our best 4 midfielders for a start, our second best forward, our best key defender. We had 13 more scoring shots than them and dominated around the ground. If we had finished a few more shots then everyone would be very happy with the performance. At the end of the day, we won. Our forward line functioned much better than it has all year and we got a lot of good looks that we just didnt finish off. World not over. Win next week and then two big weeks vs North and Carlton, hopefully with Dusty and Foley back. Just be happy with the win. The richmond of old wouldn't have won this game.

ffs we seriously need to fix up our kicking for goal and stop just bombing to a contest all around the ground. we supposedly are supposed to spread well but its no point if you just kick to a contest particularly going into fwd fifty. dea is just to slow to think and goes to ground far too easily. o hanlon needs time to adjust to the afl pace of the game and also remember going at the 45 is play on. he got smothered plenty of time. we need to be smarter with spread, run with it more often and be more structured with our kicking. we are down on soldiers so its disappointing that whitey will go by the mrp. he waited all this time then gets a holiday. all in all very disappointing and ffs lets learn to kick straight.
